I can't fault the product. It is really cute and what I wanted. However, I did not read the description fully and realized when it arrives that it is battery-powered. This wouldn't be a problem except I have a really tall tree and can't reach the battery pack to turn it on/off. Bummer

Didn’t realize it was battery operated until it arrived. Wouldn’t have bought it if I had known. That being said it was nice enough and bright enough, burns through batteries very quickly, kids like to leave the lights on 24/7 around Christmas though

For several years, I've been having trouble connecting the lights on my tree topper to the other lights on my tree. So I was happy to get a battery operated Star. I noticed some people in the reviews complained about the batteries. One said that the batteries wore out quickly. My daughter suggested rechargeable batteries, which I plan to get. But I started with some half used batteries from the kitchen drawer, and it's been working fine for several days. It took me about 2 minutes to install the batteries and mount the star on my tree. Easy peasy and it looks beautiful on my tree. I'm very happy with this purchase.

No remote and the metal was bent but you can bend it back easily enough. The battery pack and cord are long so if you hide it in the tree, it’s super easy to turn on that way.

It's very glittery, so if you don't like that you won't like this. It gets all over. But I don't mind. We leave it on all the time as you have to turn out off and on and it's too high up to do that. It does not plug into an outlet. It's battery operated. It's very pretty

I was afraid the led lights would be brighter than my soft white strings of lights on my tree, but they are not and blends nicely.

I purchased the Rustic Rattan tree topper and don’t get me wrong it is so freaking cute and would be absolutely perfect if it wasn’t so heavy and falling off the tree. I’m honestly not sure how anybody got it to stay on their tree because I folded the top of my tree THRICE now, to try and make it thicker but it just will not fill out the spiral part of the tree topper and it literally is so heavy it just falls off regardless. I really wanted it to work but will be returning :(

It's a beautiful product and it's very well made but! it's battery operated. Didn't see that in the product description and I didn't read the specifics. My fault!!! Now I have to find the battery case in the back of my tree to shut off the lights. Not convenient at all and too much of a hassle to return. Read, read, read...I didn't.
