Meh..
I have ordered three of these fountains all together. One from Walmart, and two from this seller on Amazon. The fountains seem to work when they want to work. When they do work, they work very well. The lights are bright and the water flow is powerfull unlike many fountains. However, I also received one which had the bird broken off. Not only this but there was a huge chunk missing from the back of the fountain. The missing chunk was not in the box. Obviously the seller did not check the box before shipping it out. If it was a return, it should not have been shipped out to another person. Use caution when thinking about buying this. It seems to be hit or miss.

Beautiful mini fountain - extremely noisy jets
I picked this fountain up for $10 at a local retail chain store. (Hint: It beings with W and ends in MART)This model comes with an AC adapter so you're good to go out of the box; but you can also use AA batteries if you wish. I would highly recommend rechargeable batteries for this however since the fountain can eat through a set of batteries in 24 hours and would probably end up costing you the price of the fountain in a week if you simply wanted it battery operated. As far as looks go this little fountain (5x5x9 inches) is very pretty. It's adorned with 3 large birds that are red, yellow and blue in color - and somewhat resembles a small bird bath against a wall. It also has 2 led bulbs ingrained into it for a warm appearance when lit. The leds themselves aren't very bright and diffused enough where it highlights the fountain but doesn't distract the surrounding environment. My major gripe with this fountain however is that the pump used for it is way too strong for its size. Once water starts to flow, the jets on top that shoot the water down are so strong that it splashes water everywhere and is incredibly noisy because of it. If you're brave enough to open it apart, perhaps there's a setting on the pump that you can switch to low so that the flow isn't so strong. You can resolve this issue by placing a small decorative marble/stone/bead/etc where the water hits the fountain to diffuse the strength of the jets. Just make sure the item you plan to use is smooth and somewhat curved to minimize splashing. Another method (although I don't recommend it) would be to drill the holes of the jets to be a little larger so that the flow is heavier but not as direct.Obviously it shouldn't be up to the consumer to fix this problem when clearly it was a design issue with the pump. For that reason I can't really recommend the fountain unless you get it at a store with a generous return policy since you can see for yourself if you like it or not and want to deal with the pump issue.Hopefully they revise future versions and this doesn't become an issue.

Good customer service!
The first fountain sent was defective, but it was gratefully replaced and my niece and her children are really enjoying it!

Quit working in just a couple of days.
I bought it at a local W store but it ended in green not mart. It was an impulse buy cause I thought it would be nice to have at the office. It went through the batteries quick. then I hooked it up with the DC power, One of the mangers said "it sounds like my son peeing" a day or so later it began making humming noises and then just quit working all together. The LED's still light but no running water. I took it home and used a scope to see inside because I thought maybe something was blocking the pump and then it just came apart in my hands. I got the pump to spin then the lights would flicker but no water. Finally gave up. Even though it looks nice it isn't worth the money.

Worked properly for about 6 hours.
After opening the product, it worked well for about 6 hours, but then it started to vibrate and hum loudly to the point where the humming sound overpowered the sound of the water trickling. It also emits a slight electrical burning smell. While inspecting it, I noticed that there is some foam inside the reservoir that will not come out. I didn't see anything in the manual about this, so I don't know it's purpose. I figured it may be blocking the pump and causing the issue, but it is attached and will not remove. I gave up on trying to remove it after I cut my hand on the plastic.
