for me everything else but carpet, but it is a carpet knife
I use this carpet knife to separate double glass windows, cut rubber hose of all sizes, shave softer woods for something that is rubbing or stuck, cut leather, cardboard, flexible plastic and much more. its well priced and will last, my last one gave up after 11 years of use.
