Luz Organic Mucuna Pruriens, Natural Dopamine Supplement

My dad had Parkinson's and I read research studies that used this to assist with initiating the swallow response in PD patients. It was a last ditch effort, but I wish I had started it earlier because it worked really well for him when all else had failed. I used this tea to help him swallow liquids and soft foods. I highly reccomend giving it a shot for anyone having trouble with swallowing.

My order arrived today. It came pretty quickly. I tried it water, and it taste pretty pleasant.

I really enjoy using this White Peony Root Extract by Luz. I like to blend it into my facial moisturizer. It is said to help relax the facial muscles and in turn prevent fine lines and wrinkles from stress. This Root Extract can also be ingested by mixing it with a drink of your choice. Ingesting this supplement can reduce pain caused by muscle spasms and cramps, promote female reproductive health and regulate periods, and when taken on a regular basis it helps strengthen the immune system.I had tried this in several different drinks, but unfortunately ingestion of this supplement is not for me. I will not take off stars for that though! These are issues of my own and not the product itself. I am more sensitive to supplements.I had to try this in my lotion and facial masks, and in that journey I also found that I like to use it in my facial cleanser. I have even gone as far as putting it on my automatic, spinning, facial brush by itself. It comes in a powder form, has a very slight earthy smell, is a little coarse, it blends well (with lotion, mask, or cleanser), and it feels amazing on the skin. You only need to put a little amount in your moisturizer, so this container will last me a long time. It mixes quickly, and will still spread easily and evenly. My skin tone immediately looked more even, and I had a beautiful glow to my complexion. I have not had any negative skin reactions.I gave this White Peony Root Extract 4 stars because I have only been using it for 5 days, but I look extremely forward to positive results with continued use.I am grateful that I was chosen to receive this product for a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I was unsure of what to expect when I got this. I have never tried anything like this so I was totally going on a wim. I am always looking for natural medicines. The ones that dont have a million side affects like perscribed meds do. My hubby and I both have pain issues. ANd have tried many products. He is a tree climber that also lifts weights so he is always sore and aches every day. SO when I showed him this he was unsure himself because I have had him try many natural pain relief ways that make us both gag..LOL..so i knew he would think its another one of my crazy ideas. ANyways, This is a nice fine powder that mixes in your drink well. You can add it to almost any drink you have. The 1st time we tried it, i was amazed at how NOT nasty it was. It was actually pretty good with my juice. My hubby liked it to. We have been taking it every night before bed and not only has it helped him with his muscle aches but we have both been sleeping way better. for me mother nature is really making it hard on me every month, (sorry guys) having bad cramps and already have a history of cysts and my hubby told me to drink the white peony throughout the day and see if it helps. I would of never thought to do it. Anyways I have been drinking it several times a day this past few days and it has helped me tremendously. I have barely ached since taking it this month. ANd that means i havent had to lay on the heating pad for a week straight. I do not have an idea of if you can over use this because it didnt have very detailed usage directions but I have been taking my chances. I have felt so much better over the past few weeks and I really think it was this doing it. I love drinking it in my hot tea right before bed and it relaxes me so well. There are many reasons why I love this product but also why I don't. I really love that the product is natural and the quality or the product and that it does work I also like the packaging and how it has a second lid so it doesn't spill out, I also really like that it's easy to store and take with me. On the other hand I don't like the container because it is not natural and needs to be recycled when plastic consumes so many landfills it would be better if this would have been packaged a little differently.Aside from that I really love this product because it does work. For me it wasn't an instant relief rather I drank two cups of tea and got suddle results. It wasn't so powerful that I needed to go to sleep instead I just felt more calm and clear minded which was nice. The extract was a little bitter but when added to my hot tea and honey it wasn't so bad. It also mixed well in my hot tea and I did stir as I drank just to get any residue that may have floated to the bottom of my mug.This worked well for me after workouts and long days working in my crop fields. My mother in law has arthritis and I gave her some of this to try because she came over one day and was hardly able to move her left hand and after about an hour of drinking one cup of hot tea with this in it she said it wasn't hurting as bad. It wasn't a cure for her pain but did ease it a notch. So even though this is to relax muscles somehow it did help with her arthritis pain, perhaps it helps imflamation also?....
