Spoiled chocolate ginger
I was so disappointed! This package of cookies were delivered in a bag without any cushioning. They were broke and looked stale. I was gifted this cookie purchased in Amana, Iowa and they were delicious. Now I find out I can’t return. I almost purchased two packages. Next time I will heed the bad reviews. Some reviews were good. The cookie purchased was chocolate ginger.

A Holiday Ritual
I fell in love with these delightful cookies long ago and purchase them as soon as they become available every year. If you're expecting the usually bland gingerbread made in America, you will be pleasantly surprised by the more intense flavor these cookies offer. If the sugar glaze doesn't appeal to you, this company also makes the exact same cookie but with chocolate icing; both are wonderful. Yes, they are pricey - but worth it!

Picture online shows 7 but there are only 6 per package
Thought I was getting packages of 7 Lebkuchen each, but there are only 6 in each package.These are good Lebkuchen, but the clove in the flavor is more pronounced than I like.

We lived near Nuremberg for a year and first tasted lebkuchen there. These from Wicklein are the real deal.😍
