Runs faster and quierer than most fans
Good and quiet this fans can run up max at 2400 rpm and provides more cooling air than most fans same size out there since most are only 1000-1500rpm max. Is pwm system control speed based on temps

Absolut top

Very quiet, no bearing or electrical noise
I got these fans for my radiators, very happy with their performance, they push air through high density radiator with no issues. Absolutely no bearing or electrical noise, the only thing I hear at high RPM is air movement, but that's expected. The fans are expensive, but with ML bearings and friction-less operation I expect these to last.

Great fan a little noisy.
This fan is great. I bought 3 of these for my case. Two in the front of the case and one for the rear to exhaust. When these are at low speeds, I can hardly hear them. But when these are cranked up to 2000 RPM they are loud and can be annoying for most. If you wear headphones most of the time like I do, then you won't really notice it. But these suck in so much air and keeps everything cool. I only turn these up when I'm gaming. The build quality is nice and nothing vibrates when at full speed. The LED obviously won't look as good in the marketing pictures but they do look nice and not as bright. Overall I would buy more just for top of the case and might to replace my water cooler fans. Don't hesitate to buy.

Noisy at the speed higher than 1200 RPM
These fans are noisy at higher fan speed than 1200 RPM. I have two noctua NF-A12x25 PWM running at 2100 RPM which is not noisy at the higher RPM. Regret buying this. I will be replacing all ML140 Pros or ML120 Pros with NF-A12x25 PWM soon.

I am a fan of these Corsairs.
Being very sensitive to noises, I went through almost all of the highly rated and recommended fans throughout many years. I used to have Gentle Typhoons (AP-15) on my 480mm and 240mm radiators, and although they did their job well, the motor noise was starting to get on my nerves. After discovering a leak in one of the rads, I decided to upgrade my entire setup.I initially ordered the Corsair SP120 Performance Editions, but when placed horizontally on the radiator it would emit a rattling sound which really got on my nerves. So I returned them back to Amazon and ordered the newer Gentle Typhoon PWM editions to only find out the motor sound was worse than ever even on low RPM.At this point I was just frustrated, so even though the ML series was quite new, was costly, and didn't have as much reviews, I decided to give them a try, and I think these are the best fans I've heard so far. There's literally no motor noise due to Magnetic Levitation, and the RPM curve via PWM is smoothest I've seen yet.Keep in mind that these fans MUST BE controlled via PWM (either a controller, or from your motherboard PWM header). Not using PWM will run these at full speed, which will be quite loud. Controlling these via DC can work, but is not recommended as the range, and RPM curve will not be as smooth, which can produce unwanted noise.Pros:- Excellent RPM/noise curve- Barely audible at lower RPM- Build quality is superb- Flat, sleeved cables- Rubber on the contact points to reduce vibrations- Looks sleek aesthetically- Pushes more air at lower noise levels- 5 year warranty from a company I consider the best at customer service and warranty replacementCons:- Expensive. Although there are fans that perform better at lower cost (though at the cost of noise), I feel that it's totally worth it if you're sensitive to the motor noise like I am.
