Old Shanghai Women's Silk Kimono Long Robe - Handpainted - Crane Teal

What an amazing Kimono! I really didn't expect it to be so amazing! Soft, vibrant, just the right length and beautifully made. I feel so special wearing it. A great Bride's gift! It fits true to size...roomy but not too much. Best part..or one of the best parts is you can hand wash, line dry and it is still soft, wrinkle free and beautiful! Christmas is coming! I can't imagine a woman who wouldn't love one of these. Arrives super quickly too!

I liked the robe and fit. I am 5'2" tall. loved the color and print. however thesilk is way to thin and would have liked it more if it were a heavyer silk forthe price of 99.00.

I had spent a very long deciding on whether to purchase this because of the price, $120 + 20 fees and its an internet purchase - you never know what you'll get. In the end I finally decided I should buy it. It's a light silky material, good for summer, color and print are the same as described, beautiful, teal crane. I'll update review for how the seams hold up. The size is good for me, I normally wear clothing in small/ medium, size 4 dress, there is plenty of fabric for my hips. I do like the slits on the side, the length once tied goes to mid shin, I'm 5'5''. The ties for the belt are very high up on the body so it looks and fits strangely. The major disappointment I had was this isn't hand painted, it's printed fabric, that is misleading when trying to justify spending more on this. Also not sure about the material, there are soft threads coming out of seams.

Beautiful, luxurious, sensuous silk! The printing on the silk is very well done. The thickness is very nice with a tight weave. Stiching is clean straight with no fabric edges showing. Really it is a quality made robe. I have bought two so far, one for me and one for my sis. The only thing that I could wish better is if it had been fitted to me. The loops for the robe are not at my waist but rather at my rib cage even though I am only 5' tall... Never-the-less, I want to eventually purchase one for every female member of my family.

Very nice vivid colors and brush-work, just as advertised! However, there is a bit of size issue because inner and outer ties are way too high which I think was due to this robe being made for smaller/shorter woman (I am 5'9"/150 lbs). If you've got curves you may find it difficult to keep it close in the front. It is really modeled for small bone women. I love it otherwise - will have to redo ties myself, that's all.

This is an absolutely GORGEOUS robe that is so unbelievably soft!! It is extremely silky, so like other reviews state, you will absolutely have to close the rob with the inner ties as well as the outer ties to keep the robe from slipping off. I'm 5'4 and it lands right above my ankles. This is a very high quality robe that I guarantee you will not want to get out of when you're wearing it!

It is beautiful but color bleeds! I had some spill and tried to clean the spot the color came off!
