The best fighter jet aircraft ever made!!!
I had this model as a kid, ended up throwing the model away and now at the age 30 I bought it again. This is my favorite aircraft of all time. The F-22 Raptor is hands down one of the most beautiful piece of machinery I have ever seen. This model kit was great putting together. Wanted to experiment with different color schemes, was going for a darker scheme with camouflage patterns which can barely be seen in the photos but I like it. I’ll be looking into getting a model stand for this jet and I’ll place the AIM-12? Missiles underneath like I showed in the photos. The graphics are always a pain when trying to apply them to models so I did two AIM-12 missiles and gave up. The AIM-9 missiles have their graphics on which is all that matters to me. If Lockheed Martin is looking for a color scheme designer for their F-22s, give me a call. I’m sure you can track me down through Amazon. Lastly, I added the touch to exhaust to represent the afterburners of the aircraft. Really love and enjoyed this model kit. Brought many childhood memories back.
