As someone that has a trouble finding motivation to cook for myself, this thing has been a game changer. Don’t have to worry about cats or kids messing with a boiling pot of water or have to stir and keep it from boiling over. 15 minutes and you have perfectly cooked pasta!

When it has came down to cooking pasta, it can be shown more as a fragile and delicate art that might work on the stove top, or in the traditional oven. But in the microwave, it is more of a challenge, considering the pasta cannot come out so easily to your liking. It can be under-cooked or overcooked with the wrong temperature or wrong amount of water to firmly cook the pasta. While I can easily cook pasta, is is better that you make it fluffy and full enough so you do not lose any of the taste. I have seen rapid pasta cookers for the microwaves, and they do not deliver enough on the promise. This Rapid Pasta Cooker can cook pasta, but not as strongly as you do in the oven. While it can work very well with flat pastas like linguini and spagetti, it honestly does not work as well when you are cooking more creative pastas like medium shells or ziti. Overall, it works well, but there are those that may have wanted much more for the money overall. I do like the Rapid Pasta Cooker, but honestly if you want it for bigger servings or creative pastas like rotini and tortalinni, you are better off going to somewhere else for your al dente pasta.Price: CConvenience & Setup: C 1/2+Overall: C

I figured I'd pick this up, try it once or twice and forget about it, that it'd start melting away or something.Nope. I use this thing all the time. Yes, you *can* boil spaghetti normally just as quickly, but this you don't have to watch, and I get *all* the spaghetti out - nothing gets cooked to the bottom of the pot because I had to step away for a moment.Yes, the microwave gets a bit wet - put a folded paper towel underneath and you're fine. It doesn't hurt the microwave in the slightest.The only negative, really, is that the water "fill line" isn't easy to spot on the sides. And, honestly, it could stand to be maybe a quarter to half inch longer - it seems all the spaghetti brands I try are *just* barely too long pre-cooking to sit nicely. Not that that lasts long, granted, and it doesn't really affect the cooking.Cleanup's easy as can be, too. Honestly, if you want easy spaghetti, just get one of these. You can't go wrong.

This absolutely needs to be taller. If you put in the recommended amount of water, the water will boil over into the microwave.Yes, I guess you could place the pasta cooker on a thick towel inside the microwave, but then the towel will get soaked, and we shouldn't have to be required to do this.This pasta cooker is one of those great ideas that is really poorly executed. What a terrible design. Also, it is extremely difficult to see the second line, aka the water fill line. The pasta fill line is easy to see...so I cannot understand why they made the water line almost impossible to see when you are adding the water.I absolutely do not recommend this microwave pasta cooker.Yes, perhaps one could put in less pasta and thus much less than the recommended amount of water, but then that would give you a much smaller serving when the serving is already small even if you put the pasta up to the pasta fill line.

I cooked macaroni in this for macaroni salad the other day and it did a perfect job I was very pleased with the outcome. The insert for draining it was very nice I didn't have to pour out the hot water which is dangerous for me the hot water always used to get it on my arms now it's perfect. I put it in a bowl and it was fine. I love it and I would buy this again for myself and my daughter as a gift.

Doesn't work as well in smaller microwaves, too big foe ours, doesn't turn around. Does still work OK, just takes longer

This is a great item . It makes cooking pasta so much easier and no boiling over! I recommend this product.

Pâte pas très bonne

Takes forever to make in the microwave. Makes a surprising mess. It’s honestly easier to just make spaghetti on the stove.
