it was a little unbalanced, but it did work O.K. however it did not work well in my rustler 4x4 vxl.

they sent me the older version that's not blackened so that's false advertising. They also don't provide the washers needed to make this work properly. So you need m2 or m3 washers. Use tapered head screws to get them perfectly centered. Still use lock washers.This is a well built part. If I had known I would not get the blackened newer version I would have just bought it from the Robinson site.

I've been using this spur gear on my slash for about 15 batteries now. It shows minimal wear and seems like I won't have any issues with it. I also use a metal pinion gear. It is louder than the stock plastic gears, but I have yet to strip any gears as was common with my bashing in plastic gears. Very happy and would purchase again.

Works like a charm. Made a huge difference in the way the Slash ran.
