This dip kit is great! I do my nails every week to 2 weeks and I needed something that didnt take 5 hours! I did it with the fake tips and I love it. Dont mind the little bit of black on my ring finger ( tried a design but I didnt like it so I took it off but couldn't get all the black polish off!)I have tried the poly gel but it was way to messy and took forever! This set is so easy to use. It is very important to make sure your brushes are clean or they will start to harder and it can cause clumping. Trust me I know from experience! Also you only have to dip the nails twice otherwise they get way to thick. Besides that I highly recommend!

The powder themselves are OK. A bit sheer so it takes 3 coats for full color coverage, at which point lots of filing is needed to avoid very thick nails. The top coat however, is TERRIBLE. Please see pictures. It takes forever to dry. I waited 15minutes for 2 layers, and still ended up with a sticky layer that wiped on everything. I tried dipping my fingers in cold water, which was horrible in winter. After that, the top coat turned white! It did disappear the next day, but the top coat never shined. I kept applying different layers for that brilliant shine, but it never got to that point. It's always dull and a little wrinkly.

I am REALLY bad at doing my own nails....like really bad. I bought this on a whim after seeing a friend's results with at home dip.I'm blown away by how easy this kit is!!! It's also super convenient because you don't have to carve out a huge chunk of time to "do nothing" while you do your nails. It does take 3-4 coats to get full coverage, but the powder is fully dried and hard between coats - so change the laundry, empty the dishwasher, make the kiddos dinner - and finish when you're done!!My only recommendation is to get a set of filing blocks and heavy nail files to even out the powder between coats for a more professional finish.The picture of white nails was my first attempt - 4 coats of powder. The blue nails is my 3rd attempt - 3 coats of powder. So far mine last 7-10 days before starting to peel away/chip but that is standard even when I have them done professionally. I bartend, play sports, garden and am generally rough on my nails.

I'm a pro after 3 uses. This product is great I love the assortment of colors that it has. This photo is going on the second week. No ships, I wash dishes alot and recently did gardening. The polish lost some shine after gardening but to be expected. I would buy again but each container has plenty of powder to go on. I will buy again the activator and top coat. The activator, top coat and base are a bit strong when applied to close l. It'll feel irritating on the eyes because of the fumes. No issue for me.

I bought 2xdifferent brands of dip,powder sets to see which one I would like best. THE BEETLES POWDER is super fine and accumulates. It is so fine, it almost acts like it wants to stick together, even though it is a dry powder. I ended up with clumps and streaks on my nails and would try to gently brush it off and all the,powder came off, so starting over. I tried using the 1234 set liquids to put beetles powder on and it still didn't help. I think the powder is,just too thin and I am too much of a novice. The kit that works best for me right now is GHdip powder dip kits. So much easier for me since I am,a beginner and they dry super fast!

My daughter and I have had decent luck with these. We follow the instructions. Buffing and filing well between activator coats seems to be key to looking more professional.

I thought sheerness was a bad thing, this dip covers very well. I will say the instructions are not very thorough so I would watch a video prior to application because you do have to work fairly fast. It definitely takes practice but this system is user friendly once you know what you need to do. Also wore pretty well, I got almost two weeks before I had lifting.

So I bought this a few weeks ago and used it a few times. I was ready to return it after the second time because it would always chip within days of doing my nails. I gave it another chance and put three coats of the powder instead of the three and tried to follow the directions better and now I am on my 5th day and no chip. It’s actually quite easy to use once you get the hang of it, the colors are all so nice and for the price and variety you get, it can’t be beat. Highly recommend.
