Miracle-GroTHICK'R Lawn Seed, Fertilliser & Soil Improver Fertiliser, Brown

Stinks when you lay it down- really horrible for about 5 days.But does so much to recover and rebuild your lawn.For added growth we added some additional seed from the same company and really has transformed our lawn.Used to cover a large patch where we had parked a car for several months. That patch now looks better than the rest of the lawn.

Within just four days of covering my lawn with this stuff… it’s now a field of white mould and fungus. It looks like a special effects team from a horror movie snuck into my garden overnight to film a zombie movie.I really wish I had properly read the other reviews on this product before buying! It’s absolute garbage.EDIT: ok now my lawn looks fantastic two weeks after using this and having gone through the scary mould stage! It’s filled in all the lawn gaps and the grass looks beautiful and very green.

Having recently scarified the lawns (after treating them with the Miracle-Gro 4 in ! weeder/feeder), I was left with bare and thin patches where the dead moss and weeds used to be. Thought I'd give this a try as it has 10% grass seed as well as the other good stuff. You will definitely need a spreader for this - I happen to have the Miracle-Gro Drop Spreader (no - this is not a commercial for Miracle-Gro. Any decent spreader will work.). Anyhow, it went on easily and smelled like fertiliser afterwards, About a week later things have started to turn a shade greener and there is some new grass growth. On this basis, I have bought another two bags for most of the remaining lawns. Is it worth the money? I think so. Just. I always feel that lawn seed/feed and weed killers are overpriced. No photos for this review. I hope you wouldn't trust before/after pictures of lawns anyhow..

I had virtually no grass left by the time I tried this but within a few weeks the grass began to improve and has now reached the point where it has restored the lawn to near perfect. Using this along with a light garden roller and regular light cuts with the mower means I am no longer thinking of having to fork out for a new lawn, only thinking of buying another bag of this magical mixture, should I require it. Very, very pleased.

Great Product, DELIVERY AWFUL, The package WAS NOT delivered BUT thrown over the Wall by our DRIVE GATES, the package was damaged and not found until yesterday, THE DRIVER WAS DISHONEST, The email received said it was handed to the owner, UNTRUE.

Its made a lovely lawn . Very pleased .

Bag arrived with a huge split and seed all in the box.I then used the remaining seed in the garden and it is just a no go if you have dogs. It smells like animal manure which attracts flies and more annoyingly the dogs try to eat it (no read other similar reviews). Really frustrating as it has made them ill too even though it says on the bag it is safe for dogs.Waste of time and money, do not buy.
