I got two of these for my granddaughters, ages 3 and 6. They are perfect. I inflated each one based on how big it needed to be for their little feet to touch the ground appropriately, and they are having a blast. There is room for additional inflation in both of them, so I expect a couple of summers for the 6 year old and several summers for the 3 year old. The products seem durable and the hand pump is easy enough to use that I let the older child pump her own until she got tired of it. Overall, for the money paid, this is a nice toy.UPDATE: We've had these for a couple of years now and they are still holding up well. We live in Maine where the winters can be long and harsh. These balls were left inflated and subject to the weather through warm summers and freezing cold winters. The colors faded somewhat, but that's to be expected under those conditions. However, the usability of the toy is still as good as it ever was. The 3 and 6 year olds are now 5 and 7 and they still enjoy these. We check and reinflated them a bit after the winter and they are good to go for another season. We now have a 2 year old coming along so we'll either purchase a third one or repurpose one of the others as the girls get older. For the money, this has been a great purchase.

I’m not great with the size of things, so I underestimated when I ordered this hopping ball for my two-year-old grandson, as he still too little to make the all go on his own.It came with an extra plug, and a pump, and pumps up easily, and is very sturdy. I know he will get lots of use from it in the future and the price was great.

Material is outstanding, not cheap at all. The handle is even thicker to prevent tear. I play with my daughter and actually beat older people with it when they being smart, puts up with heavy abuse. A kid of 45lbs can jump on it and not worry about it breaking or exlpoding due to force. The little pump that comes ith it seems very cheap but its intention is to be used to inflate this ball not every single thing at home. The pump works and does the job. The printed little image is also well printed on that it does bot rub off like regular plastic balls sold at toy stores. This ball is considetably excellent and very well priced for what you get. As always please read warning labels and follow printed warnings to prevent injury. Have fun with this because im sure we do with the kids. I could have bought similar one at store but the fact is quality is my choice and sometimes reading reviews is simply the best way to shop smart. The ball is considered safe and very secure when used properly for ehat is intedended.

Kids enjoy bouncing around, Seems sturdy and lots of fun, were going to try outside as soon as weather permits so hopefully it will hold up well.

Gave this to a 6/almost7 year old to try out the size before giving it as a present to another child. This is a bad idea, because a kid will very likely be very sad if you take it away again.(Even though I thought it had a motif suited for a girl or younger boy). I had to let him keep it because he loves it so much, I couldn't take it away from him. I asked him if the ladybug on the front made it a boy's toy, a girl's toy or a toy for girls and boys. He said a toy for girls and boys, which surprised me a little, but if he feels that way I certainly don't want to convince him otherwise. His mother told me he skips around on it every day! What an inexpensive way to make a kid happy!!! The size seemed perfect for his age and size(average), even though the manufacturer's suggestion is right on the edge of getting a larger size.

I purchased this item for my three year old grandson. I wasn't sure about selecting the appropriate diameter, as the description states this 18 inch ball is for ages 3-6 and he's only a few days away from his third birthday, but a little small for his age. As it turned out, the size was just too large and my grandson was unable to hop with it. So, we kept this one and I ordered the 15 inch for him. It was a much better fit and now he can bounce around as intended.I gave the product 5 stars, because choosing the wrong diameter was my mistake. The ball is so easy to inflate - a pump and extra air plug comes with it, it's a cute design and can be used when my grandson gets bigger. He loves this toy and it provides a lot of indoor exercise.

My partner thought inflating upon arrival was easy. The ball seems durable. The handle is not sturdy (see bottom of his review for more on the handle).Is not built for my 3 year old. Handle too flimsy and ball is to big for her. She is in the 80th percentile for height in her age group. She cannot touch ground and rolled over on her face (forward) while hanging on to flimsy handle. When she hit carpet she was still holding handle which bent flimsy allowing her to fall on face.I thought it was advertised as being for 3year old age to 6? But I'd have to go back and read again. I do hope company changes age after this review. I'd hate another 3year old getting hurt on this. I sat on it at park and it held my weight..154..but holding on to what the maker calls a handle..I would not feel safe trying to jump around.Go to your bread box..get a piece of sourdough bread...fold in half..That's about the strength of the handle.Hope that helps.

In these difficult times where kids don't go to school and we've been staying home for months while living in an apartment without a yard it's very hard to keep kids exercising and entertained. But this thing has really done the trick. My 6 year old granddaughter has had it for 2 days now and she absolutely loves it!! She's been using it literally all day in intervals, it's sturdy and lots of fun for the kids and for the price I highly recommend it.Big plus: the kids fell sound asleep fast after using it all day because they were tired.Granddaughter has only had it for 2 days so I really can't rate durability.

Granddaughter loves it, that's all that matters :D
