It's good, buy it.
It's not as good as the ones from the 90s. But damn it does its job. Especially since I snipped a couple bars off the safety cage so bigger bugs could fly in there. Often resulting in a 3-minute long horror show that ends with a terrible stench of fried chicken mixed with burnt arm hair.. but that's the kind of thing you got to be ready for with any good bug zapper. Reminiscent of that dry sponge scene from "The Green Mile"And as far as Bill Gates releasing 150, 000 genetically modified mosquitoes in the United States.. I highly recommend everybody buys one of these right now and starts using it. It's unclear what role he played In the pandemics beginnings.. but I'm sure there's something very sinister about those mosquitoes too.Anyways.. the bug zapper, I like to blow mine out once a week with compressed air and operate it without the catch tray installed on the bottom. After 1 month I popped the outer plastic cage downward to release it and use a damp Mr clean pad to lightly clean the bars with it unplugged of course. Had to say that otherwise I'm sure somebody out there will try cleaning it plugged in. Be careful with the d-ring on the top it's not very strong.

Excellent bug zapper, liked it so much I bought another one!
The media could not be loaded. First night out and it was like the 4th of July in my back yard. But that's not to mean it's loud, because it is not.Cleaned out the bottom the next day and I couldn't believe the number of bugs (see photos).I definitely want another! There were a lot of bugs stuck to the metal rails inside, I found that it was easy to clean using compressed air to blow them off.

It definitely does the job!!
As soon as I hung this thing up and plugged it in it started zapping! I love the fact that has a great size and the color is not too bright on the eyes! I would definitely recommend this product!

Looks like a modern lantern but works great!
I've had this zapper for a couple of months but I wanted to wait to review until bug season was in full swing! I'm In the country in the Midwest and was looking for a solution to being able to sit out on my deck /use the grill in the evening without having to start a smoke fire. A lot of people think you put this right near you or on your porch as a sort of entertainment and for ease of cleaning each time, but you really need to place this between the source and where you are having the issue. It will only attract bugs to you and your location if it is near you or on your deck/hanging outside the house. I found a nice spot about 25 feet away (and the directions very clearly state and diagram the best placement). I have a lot of woods around the property and the biting bugs and insects have decreased significantly on the side of the house where the zapper is. It is not as loud or as offensive lighting, as other zappers, I've seen around here. Was easy to clean as well and waiting to see how long it will keep working this well. I will update my review at the end of summer:)It is all assembled and ready to plug in. The cord is really short so make sure you have an appropriate extension cord ready or ordered so you don't plug in close to your location (if outside). I had a number of bugs in the garage from the door being open, so I Plugged the unit in there, hung from a center rafter, and after a couple of hours, most of the bugs were zapped. Make sure you keep a timer on it so you don't forget something like that on being on in your inside space overnight. I imagine between the number of bugs getting fried and the wattage/voltage that it would be a fire hazard if you forgot about it for a long period of time. Overall a great buy for the price! Updates later as promised!

Ughh
This bug zapper worked perfectly until it didn’t. I purchased this item May 24, 2021. June 8, 2021 it stopped working!

Good start at Mosquito control1
This bug zapper is lightweight and looks nice in the garden. Hung mine on a metal hanger I wasn't using for anything else, and have it plugged into an outdoor smart plug. Working great and zapping is happening! It was a good price on Amazon, and I hope it will last me a couple of years. Recommend this one after my research on others.

Falsely Advertizef
The description says indoors/outdoors (even kitchen). Received & box says “outdoors”. Then, directions say “place 25 feet away from area intended for human activity”. Darn, my kitchen isn’t longer than 25 feet nor is it outdoors.

We’ll worth it!
I’ve only had this for 2 days and it works great! I guess the hardest part now will be cleaning all of the dead bugs out.
