bought this for my domestic pig (100+pounds) and boy should i have installed this 10 years ago when i first got him. would have saved myself a hundred headaches!!!installed it on wooden pickets with the insulating rings, bought the zareba poly wire and grounded it with some old stripped copper electrical wire.big baby tried it twice and understood. haven't had a single espace attempt since!i was scared for the dog (miniature bull terrier) since she's much smaller , 50 pounds, she caught it once and she also got the message loud and clear.i expect nothing but good results from now on if i trim the weeds regularly

We have purchased two of these fence chargers now and we are incredibly happy with how well they work!! You cannot beat the price! Highly recommend them!

2 years later and still performing great but don't learn the hard way by touching it when it's on , LOL

I really like that the shock it delivers to my 120lb dog isn’t as strong as my old 120vac charger. My yard doesn’t get a lot of direct sun and it’s struggling to remain fully charged. There seem to be some nice features that slow down the pull rate when charge state is low. This is a nice feature. I wish the solar panel was larger and I wish there was an easy way to supplement power or wall charge the unit.Overall, im happy with the purchase. Just make sure you have more than just a few hours of direct sunlight per day.

Good quality won’t be installing until Spring.
