works well
This works well, but my last one unfortunately lasted only about a year, since the little thin closer finally broke.

Pretty good egg poacher
I bought this to replace a microwave egg poacher I had for years. This is really quite nice. It's easy to use and clean. I do not put it in the dishwasher. My egg is usually ready in 30 seconds, but sometimes it could use an extra five seconds. However, that could be my microwave or the coldness of the egg, and not have anything to do with the poacher. I use it frequently.

Popped open when cooking..
Used large egg probably need to use smaller egg. The lid popped open while cooking. Cleans up nicely.

A new and easy way to cook an egg!!! Who knew?
Years ago I had bought this little gadget, but I had not used it until a house-guest asked if I had one. I watched her use mine, and I have become a convert!!! Easy to use .... easy to clean ... no fuss, no muss. I have now bought 10 more to give to family for Christmas (shhhhh!).

Follow your microwave's instructions and it will work pretty well - cleans up with microfiber cloth
First time we tried it I just put an egg in the microwave on the highest setting (default) for 45 seconds and it didn't come out very good and leaked out the sides.Second time, we read the instructions on the microwave set to "omelette" using the sensor-based cooking mode which uses a steam sensor to control the cooking. Came out fluffier this time. It still bulged out of the sides during cooking and then shrunk back down with no dripping on the plate.Would be more useful if this was deeper so we could mix the egg in the cooker instead of having to scramble it in a separate dish and then pour it in. Tried closing & shaking but that method just leaks. It is fairly easy to clean with a damp soapy microfiber cloth but I was hoping it would be a little more non-stick.

Cooks okay, but doesn't retain the Egg inside.
Well this does allow you to cook a egg really fast. But...I like to make eggs for a Egg Sandwich. So I thought this would do well to make a Egg-Muffin type of Round Flat egg. So I bought it. I have used it a few times, and here are my results.I scrambled one egg, Sprayed a Light coating of Cooking Spray, and I used Spray Butter once too, onto the insides. Poured the egg into the mould. Closed and latched the lid. Popped it in the Microwave for 40 Seconds. The Egg started to cook okay, but the container lid did not hold the cooking egg inside. The Latch stayed closed, but the egg came out the two sides, in a weird misshapen form. When the Cooking time was up, the Egg shrunk back some, but was still bulging out the right and left sides of the lid. When I opened the lid the egg was cooked well enough, but the shape was more of a mangled Peanut Shape. Didn't fit on my Muffin very well. It tasted fine, but this Mould didn't contain the egg.The Egg didn't stick at all due to my using the Cooking spray, but I had expected a Round Flat egg patty to put on my sandwich. That's not what I got.If I can figure out how to make this work better, where the Egg doesn't come out all weird shaped, i'll update this. But for now, I'm not real happy.

Product works perfectly! - Update :-(
Very pleased with these little silicone egg cookers. They hold 1 one large egg and the egg all stays inside the yellow silicone cooker - as apposed to splattering outside the rim of the cooker. (I've had some of the egg cookers let egg escape and it makes a real mess inside your microwave when that happens.2-24-21 Update: This little container is now letting egg escape from the silicone egg container while cooking. It's making a mess all over my microwave and I'm not at all happy about that!

Useless product - stay away
I didn't find this product at all useful for cooking a healthy and tasty egg. The egg comes out as some cardboard when you cook it.
