I was very skeptical about the efficacy of this product, but it didn't disappoint. I have naturally blond, straight hair, which has turned hay-like and very greasy over the years. It came to a point where my hair was greasy even immediately after showering. Achieving any volume with it was hopeless. I tried every product known to mankind, all of which made very little difference. I did notice that my hair was softer and more manageable whenever I travelled, so I knew that the quality of my water had a part to play in my predicament. So, based on the positive reviews, but not expecting any miracles, I decided to give this shower head a try as my last resort. And, boy, did it ever make a difference!Installing it was a breeze (10-15 minutes, considering this is my first time replacing a shower head), the seals are good and no water is leaking (I used plumbing tape, which was not included unlike what they advertise, but I already had some, so this was a non-issue). I was initially concerned that the shower head looked a bit cheap, since it's mostly made out of plastic material, but it looks and functions just great when installed. Unlike other shower heads with filters I looked at (a lot of which feature bulky attachments), this one looks no different than any other contemporary shower head.I saw a huge difference in my hair the first time I showered -- my hair is now unbelievably soft and light, more manageable, and not greasy at all, which means it dries much quicker too. I never imagined that such drastic change was even possible. I highly recommend this product and plan to buy it as a gift for everyone I know. The only negative is that there was no plumbing tape included in my package, but honestly the product is so great that I can't even deduct a star for that. If you live in a hard water area and can't afford a water softener, this more than reasonably priced product will be a lifesaver for you.

One of the best purchases of my life. I live part-time in Jamaica in an area w/ incredibly hard-over-treated water. My skin used to burn after even a brief shower, sometimes to the point of tears as there’s nothing that can be done to relieve the burning. And then I got this. Besides getting the wrong style because the picture and names didn’t match on Amazon, everything about this purchase was great. Came quick, assembly was super-simple and I had no leaks; felt like a total boss!!Now on to the product itself. From the very first shower I could feel the difference. But decided it was all in my head; surely one can’t feel a difference after just ONE use?!? But nope; one certainly can. My skin is soooo smooth I can’t stop touching myself. My face looks amazing (clean, smooth) and MY HAIR is totally loving it. I used to put off showers until my body was uncomfortably sweaty and dirty because I didn’t want to deal w/ the pain. Now I look forward to them and it’s one of the best parts of my day.

This is a really nice looking product. Lots of other filters require ugly accessories and this just looks like a high end shower head. Worth the purchase.

I truly didn't think this shower head would make any difference but after about 2 weeks after install I started getting complements on how shiny my hair has become. The strength is good too, even my husband likes it. I also like the width of the spray. It is perfect for us.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I had very high expectations for this shower head as the reviews were very good and it has surpassed my expectations! The hard water in our shower was making me break out over my face, neck, and back. Within a week of using my Brondell shower head my acne had started to clear up and my skin was glowing. The shower head also looks and feels wonderful! My husband doesn't care about filtered water, but he loves the design and thinks it's a great shower head too. Definitely worth buying if you don't want to get an expensive water softener. This is worth every penny! I want to buy one for everyone I know.
