Great for beginners. Simple examples .Well presented

I'm rating this a 5, even though it isn't my favorite embroidery motif book. That "award" goes to Teeny Tiny Menagerie by Noriko Komurata, which is a book of strictly animal motifs. I have done so many from that book, pretty soon I'll be done (okay, I exaggerate). But, as far as this book is concerned, it has motifs of many more subjects, not just animals. For instance: Home and Hobby (includes sewing, kitchen, household, interior, gardening); Natures Living Things (self-explanatory); Special Occasions (hello baby, happy birthday, happy wedding, merry christmas); Tasty Things to Eat (self-explanatory); Letters and Numbers; Borders and Lines. These subjects cover just about everything. Their pages of Floral Letters are to-die for!! One big complaint I have about this book is that it uses floss color numbers from Olympus brand, not DMC. There is a conversion chart in the back of the book but this gets a little unwieldy and inconvenient. Otherwise, a wonderful book.

Simple and easy designs. There's a large variety here. Nothing truely groundbreaking but I wasn't expecting that. There's a little bit of everything and this will come in very handy for fun quick projects and for building my "gift stash"

Everything and pictures too.

This books offer lots of small detailed adorable prints. Very easy and I get so many compliments on them

It is a pleasure for me to go through this book. I go through and through it getting my imagination going full-tilt as I plan my next project with the images in this book. They are simpler designs that make it easy for anyone to embroider. You just can't imagine how many combinations of designs in this book can be put together to make a new design or a collection on one project. If you buy this book yu will be so happy with it and what is can give you in inspiration for yourself or anyone that you let borrow it. I believe you could "write" a book for someone just embroidering images alone. I may try that myself!

I bought this book specifically because the designs are small. I am beginning a 2022 project that will require “plain m&m” sized embroidery and this book is the perfect inspiration.
