...wenngleich man bei den Bohrlöchern und den Bambus-Stäben mit feinem Schmirgelpapier nacharbeiten muss. Die Bienen würden sich nämlich die Flügel an den rauen Kanten verletzen oder die angebotenen Öffnungen gleich ganz verschmähen. Das wird leider oft nicht bedacht. Ansonsten aber handwerklich sehr gut gemacht, eine stabile "Hülle", ein herausnehmbarer Holzblock, zwei Hängevarianten. Jetzt müssen nur noch die gewünschten Insekten das Angebot für sich entdecken...

Little smaller than it looks. Bees love it and used it from day on. Probably need a couple of these dune to size.

Very well made and thought out solitary bee nester. Bees took up residency almost as soon as the first one was put up last year. Have now bought two more as the original is bursting to full.

liked that it is so well made but it is so heavy it cannot be fixed unless it is drilled into a substantial wall or stood alone

Excellent bee nester, it’s nice and deep too unlike most sold in garden centres, easy enough to put up, looks great and seems sturdy, can’t wait for the bees etc to start using it
