Perfect
I saw mixed reviews on this. If you submerge the stick in your solution (alcohol) yes it will bend. Leave the color tip out of the solution and you won't have that problem.

Wet it with peroxide or peircing cleaning solution!!
I was dumb enough to test one out dry and it hurt severely but it was my own incompetence that led to that. So just use some piercing hole cleaning solution or peroxide and save yourself the pain.

Simple and effective if done correctly!
They work wonderfully! I wouldn't say my piercings are ever filthy but of course nothing can really get in them so it's nice having something to go through once in a while to make sure they are truly clean. I find them to be simple to use, effective, and amazing value for money as you get so many. For those struggling I'd give some tips...The instructions say to soak for 30 seconds - 1 minute, that's just far too long from what I've found. They need all of about 5 seconds.Use a new one on each piercing. I do 2 passes with the same piercing but still get a fresh one when moving to a different piercing. Not only do you not want to risk transferring the dirt/oils etc to your other piercing it also isn't made of iron and probably wont hold up to more than a few passes.Make sure you're not soaking the coloured tips. Even if you're not submerging the whole thing the liquid will eventually travel up and soften the tips which makes it hard to do the initial push. I leave about a quarter inch to a half inch when dipping and as stated above, don't dip as long as they say.Overall I'm very happy and once I finally run out I'll definitely repurchase!

Better for stretched piercings
I have 19 piercings and these only work in about 10 all of which are stretched larger than 12g/ 2mm. I find it annoying to use since the swabs are so flimsy, but they work for getting lobe gunk out once you can finally get it threaded into the piercing.

Doesn’t work
They’re not really stiff enough to go through the piercing. It takes a lot to work it in and not really worth it. It’s much harder than just dipping an earring in alcohol and using that, which is what I ended up doing.

Piercing “Q-Tips”
They’re perfect for all my piercings!! I have a few different sizes, and if the hole is a little bigger, then you just use two! They clean well especially when using a Sea Salt After Care spray. I’m a sucker for cheap jewelry that often stains, so I use these and they look so much better!

Perfect to clean dirty piercings!
I have multiple piercings on ears and body. I tend to leave in my jewelry as my daily life got more hectic. I didn't want to take the time every day to take everything out, so because of that the piercing holes start to get dirty even when jewelry are taken out for periods of time. Can clean the jewelry when removed but not the hole. This item made it very easy to clean! My piercings are finally fully clean and don't stink anymore! I was skeptical of these things when I first saw them years ago, but having left jewelry in too long made me try it out as nothing was able to fully clean my piercings. I dip one end in rubbing alcohol and let it soak up about halfway or a little bit more. For others having trouble be sure to only soak half otherwise the liquid will rise up too much and make the tip end too soft to enter the ear hole. It still having a bit of trouble with holes being too small, then try wearing earrings for at least a few days and then do it right after removing them. My piercings have been fully healed for years, almost decade(s), if you have newer piercings that need to still heal longer, then don't use rubbing alcohol, and opt to buying an earpiercing cleanser to dip the strings in. Other than that, I just wanted to give an overall review of these things work very well to clean piercing holes, and I will continue to buy these again and again.

Not for sensitive ears!
I have sensitive ears when it comes to my piercings. I can only have real silver or gold, as anything else makes them slightly swollen and feel hot/achy for a whole day, even if I only wear them for a few hours. I bought this product thinking it would help clear out anything in the piercing that was causing them to flare up and make the aftereffects not as bad.Boy was I wrong! The instructions on the product page say to "Put the white end into the cleaning liquid or alcohol and soak for 30s - 1min." I opted for alcohol to ensure they were sterile and wouldn't contribute to my swollen ear lobes. Unfortunately, soaking them for this long caused the colored area (I chose a purple tube for the first try) to draw up some of the liquid (like an oil lamp wick) and it was too soft to push through my piercing. For reference, I have standard ear piercings in 20g, like you would get from Claire's. I experimented a bit and was quite grateful the pack came with so many. I went through about a dozen trying to get it right. I ended up soaking them for 15 seconds. This gave full saturation of the white portion, but left the purple tip firm enough I could push it through my piercing. Then the pain began.I knew it was going to feel weird. I've had chain-style earrings before, where you have a pointy tip and a chain that you draw through the piercing to allow it to dangle. But this was something else! I could feel every single fiber as I drew it through my ear (going front-to-back). The alcohol felt cold, but the friction of the fibers going through my ear caused it to immediately feel sharp and burning. I had to stop midway to catch my breath, and I'm a chronic pain sufferer so it's not like I can't take some discomfort. I carefully pulled it the rest of the way out and saw that it did indeed catch a tiny white smudge of debris that had been in my ear.And my ear was on fire. The course texture of the product had done the job of pulling out this tiny fleck of debris, but had irritated and inflamed my piercing far worse than this little bit of schmutz could have ever done. But I'm no quitter.I needed to know if there was just a tiny cut inside that piercing from the last time I'd put in earrings, or was it the product. So I had to do the other piercings. I have 2 per earlobe. Altogether I went through about 20 of the product sticks trying to get them through my piercings before the alcohol (which I only soaked for 15 seconds) quickly seeped up into the purple area and made it too soft to thread through my ears. And all four piercings burned the same.I was hopeful that this was only going to be brief, that my piercings simply weren't used to the coarse texture of the cleaning sticks. But I was wrong. It was not brief. The burning and dull ache of my sensitive ears lasted for nearly 3 days. I couldn't sleep on my side the first night because the pressure of my ear against the pillow was too painful to allow sleep. I had to sleep flat on my back. Thankfully I did all this on a Friday and had the whole weekend to allow my ears to recover so I didn't go into work with what looked like a tiny red strawberry dangling from the bottom of each ear. I threw the rest of the product away, grateful it was only $7 and not worth the hassle of trying to explain why I wanted to do a return. If you have sensitive ears that only tolerate non-nickel earrings such as real gold or silver, this product is NOT for you. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it did perform as advertised in the fact that it did actually remove a tiny bit of debris from my one piercing. Other than that, it failed all around.
