Fantastic mower
Well first of all I am 72 years old and 112 lbs and to live alone with my four dogs. This lawn mower is so nice and I can push it with just one hand! It glides through the grass like butter and I wish I had bought it years ago. But I have it now and in fact I just got through cutting my grass and It looks beautiful. I actually don't mind cutting the grass even in 80° heat. The other one I had has a catcher for the grass but as you cut I would have to stop, turn around, tilt the mower and walk back in order for it to throw the clippings out Because as the clipping collected it got harder to push. Grass clippings are great for your yard. This lawn mower has a small catcher and it does collect grass but nowhere near like the other one I have. The clippings just fly over and onto your grass and now and then I do have to turn around and let the clippings that have been collected back into my yard. I'm telling you, you can't go wrong with this mower! I did have difficulty putting it together though. Getting that handle around those bolts is a b!tch. I had to turn the mower on its side and lean against The handle pushing as hard as I could and with my free hands lift the handle and try to get it to go over the bolts. I had to stop several times because I mean that's difficult if you're not a strong person. The rest of it was a breeze. It's quiet It cuts well and I also ordered one of the handheld sharpeners for when the blade gets dull I can sharpen them. 😁 I highly recommend getting this mower If you are a single woman you can do your grass with no problem and will wonder why you ever had a man do it for you. 🤷

I love this little mower!
So I'm in my early 60's and I'm a little widow woman. I had no idea how closely my neighbors have been watching me, but since I bought this thing, they have been coming over to mow my lawn and and the front area by the street, which is strange because this little mower is great! Is my lawn level? No! But this really does a nice job. I read the reviews where people said it gets hung up and you have to stop, etc. I haven't experienced this, or really very little of it. The few times it hung up, if I pulled it backwards for a sec, it cleared itself. It's not hard to push at all, and really goes through what I consider pretty thick grass. It's quiet and I dont feel like I'm waking the neighbors early on the weekends when I use it. I purchased this because I dont want to fool with gas cans or electric cords, and I'm not disappointed at all!

Great for small yards.
Have a small flat yard or small area to mow? This is a good item to use for that and it is a small workout since it is you are pushing it and such. I got this for three reasons mostly.1. Small and easy to set up and easy to store.2. Kind of nice workout for me and silent and saves money on gas.3. Light and durable.Keep in mind you will need to go over areas a couple times depending on your pace. Plus if you let your grass grow tall, this will not be ideal.

DEFINITE 5 STARS! This old lady absolutely endorses this!
This is OUTSTANDING!When I told my husband that I ordered it, he told me that I wouldn't be able to push it because they are heavy and stubborn. He was WAY WRONG!I'm a 72 yr. old lady with bad arthritis. I managed to put this together by myself! I had to use a crowbar to leverage the bottom bar into position on the mower (between the wheels). I was surprised that I accomplished it, but, I did. When I took it for a spin around our overgrown back lawn (been so rainy here, a riding mower is impossible and would sink). This baby whizzed through the grass. Where the grass was nearly 12" tall, I merely had to push, pull, push, pull several times to get it cut. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS REEL MOWER!!! And the company that produces it!

Not a replacement for power mower
The lower bars have no pins to attach to the reel without using some strength to bend the bars into place. This is more of a grass trimmer than a mower and not a replacement for power mower. It’s difficult to mow without getting blades stuck with grass and even small pieces of mulch. Also cannot get into corners and fence edges because wheels and handles get in the way.It was easier to use pulling backwards with the rollers in front but will cut at higher height and also need to make multiple passes or cross hatch.Good for getting a sweaty workout and to get your steps in. What I pay for yard service is worth the price instead of DIY with this trimmer but will keep it for occasional yard maintenance without getting gas or power equipment.

Peaceful and efficient mowing experience, easy to put together
I am a renter with a small lawn. I dislike the noise of the gas powered mowers and the fight to start them. I didn't want to use the awful one that the landlord left me and didn't want to sink money into something that I didn't want. This reel mower was the perfect answer. Under $100!!! It was delivered, I put the handle on and did a test run. It worked but needed to be raised because my lawn has some divots and tree roots to get around here and there. I watched a video on how to raise it, did that and then it worked absolutely like a dream. It makes a scraping noise that is just the mower metal working, but that is it for noise. Sure beats needing to wear ear plugs. It cut my grass just like I was behind a gas mower, but just far more pleasant an experience. I followed up with my weed eater, no biggie. I am going to purchase the blade sharpener, too, eventually so it can keep working its best. Really pleased....another thing, if you have a bad time with grass and pollen allergies this mower also helps. It doesn't kick up everything into the air so that you are breathing all the grass, etc. Another helpful hint that I follow, don't go out to mow with your harmless reel mower while your neighbors are flinging about the grass and such with their gas powered mowers. Enjoy your peaceful mowing experience to the fullest!
