Great tools, made in the USA
I like everything about this ratchet wrench. USA made. 72 teeth with smooth action. Anvil has almost zero play. Nice mix between torque and fine turning radius. Ordered 1/2 in drive of the same thing almost immediately after receiving this. I emailed Williams and confirmed Amazon is an authorized retailer and the warranty is honored. Very satisfied. Why buy anything else in the US when you have this quality at this price.

Great USA made ratchet!
For the same price range as the cheap Chinese ratchets these are hands down night and day. I've used it to break free bolts that were way over torqued. Should have used a breaker bar but this worked without failing. Buy it you won't regret it

Industrial tool for diesel repair truck.
All 3 of these hand ratchets (1/4, 3/8, 1/2) are the top of their class. USA made industrial hand tools made for shop use. If you want show off tools then rub em with a paint stick! Standard issue for union shop railroad diesel mechanic. These will last multiple lifetimes and feature available repair kits. Value price on this model as well. Cheers!

Feels sturdy and well made, but also very stiff
Just got the tool this morning and here is my first impression:Pros:-American made-Feels good and sturdy in the hand, without being too large and bulky.-Mechanism feels very solid as well, almost no wobble or free play in the drive mechanism that you will find in cheap ratchet.-Long handle will lend itself to extra torque, and it feels sturdy enough to handle it without a problem.Cons:-lower tooth count and single pawl design combined with close machine tolerances makes it durable, but it does have considerable backdrag and the directional lever is rather stiff to switch over.Overall, this feels like a very good heavy duty ratchet for tough jobs and heavy wrenching, although it may not be the best for lighter tasks when a smaller more nimble tool is called for.
