Q: Does these actually lay flat after being folded up? I have a roll up one and the edges always curl up caising pices to move around.

The folds in the mat do cause it to lay a bit uneven. You can pretty easily work out the bends though, or flatten it out with a few books.

Q: Are these for a specific D & D campaign?
