Used to screw into can lights that I was going to convert from a can light to a flush mount light. Worked like a charm. TURN OFF THE POWER FIRST because after you install them into the socket they are LIVE!

Been in the process of updating our lighting which is old recessed fixtures which we wanted to replace with LED fixtures. This little adapter which none of the big box stores sold separately makes the job a piece of cake if you want to cover over a recessed fixture with a surface mount like Green Beam brand from Amazon.

I used one of these to make a bulb socket to a grounded outlet plug adapter. The ground isn't connected, but the extra pin helps hold the extension cord end into the female plug, and keeps it from pulling out. This is important when you have an ceiling light fixture, and you have the weight of 8 ft of extension cord dangling and trying to pull the male plug (cord end) out of the adapter.

needed these to attach to the replacement LED lighting, these screw directly into the lamp socket feeding the power to the light

I bought several of these to connect 12V transformers to some 120V light bulb sockets. They have worked very well.

Unfortunately I didn’t need these as they were included with the conversion kits I ordered. Will keep for another project.
