These are great....I painted them with acrylic craft paint and they looked great. Everyone loved them. Tips: spray some water on them before using because the moisture from the paint will cause tiny cracks if not. Also, put the little metal eye screws in before you paint so that you don't paint it and then have the hole for the screw on the bottom. If you accidentally do this, you can drill a new hole with a tiny drill bit.

I really liked the size and the look of these pieces and they made great Christmas ornaments.

I have made ornaments and coasters with these they work well with acrylic paints watercolors, mod pod as well as rubber stamping.

Will buy again. Worth the money

The media could not be loaded.  These were smaller then I thought they would be but that’s my fault because I tend to not read before I purchase but no doubt they did the job that I bought them for!! I have a craft night every year and this year we decided to do ornaments with napkins and burn the edges. These were perfect and they all turned out beautiful!! They were a huge hit for my party!! All In all, I love them!!

Unfortunately, the pre-drilled hole in the top (where the eyelet screw goes) creates a weak spot in the wood and each piece has cracked on me. Very disappointed. I would not purchase. I feel like I wasted my money. Some of the pieces looked fine at first, but when I painted them (even before I inserted the screw) I started hearing cracking and looked over to see the new damage. I feel like there are better quality products out there that are similar.

I had the slices indoors in my craft room for several weeks before attempting to use them. Upon removing them from the plastic pouch they arrived in the bark was flaking off. I did a fine finish hand sand and then painted some with latex craft paint. While working on them I was gearing cracking noises and noticed that several had split (both unpainted and painted ones) as shown in the photo. I don’t think I am going to be left with enough for the craft I was trying to make.

They don't seem to have been properly treated by the seller. I ordered those to paint and make ornaments to sell at a craft fair. While I was painting them, the bark kept falling off and creating dust everywhere. After bringing them to the fair in a box, I realized most of them had cracked on their own since I had painted them. I've never had that happening before! I've used cookies to make ornaments for several years and have bought them from different suppliers in the past. This was a first!

Don't bother buying these if you're using the screws you're better off buying the ones with the hole in the wood mine all cracked every single one
