I used it for sharpening mower blades and works very well. Very satisfied with this product.

I never realized how much further myMower blades needed sharpening than using this tool with a drill. Now my blades are super sharp. Best of all I have an electric mower so I’m able to tip the mower on its side and sharpen the blades while still mounted.This method will be my way to go from here on out. I like to sharpen my blades every month or so during peak use.

They work ok but they wear down quick and don't drop them the break easily but ok with them

I bought this hoping to sharpen or at least touch up my mower blade without taking it off the machine.However, while that may be possible after a user has used it a lot, using the tool is not as simple as I imagined from looking at the picture of it. The slot with double stones had me thinking I would just run it down the business side of the blade, but.... Even in a vise, the edge of the blade does not necessarily match the angled slot to abrade both sides of the edge at once. Also, the rotating stone "climbs up" as you move it, touching the edge not how you would have wanted. So... I ended up running the rotor at right-angles to the edge, moving along it on both sides. Even so, it needs some practice to control. It does remove material nicely, but will take practice - and I don't think I could do it on the mower. Still, a good buy and a good addition to the toolkit.
