The whole kit is very high-quality. The fabric is Zweigart—not the cheap stuff. You can get the Aida in black or white. Be aware that stitching on black fabric can be challenging.The floss is organized on floss cards. I run a piece of clear tape down the middle on the front and back of these, just to keep them fresher. The ends of the floss are neatly taped. I’ve never had trouble getting the tape off. (Use scissors.) Plenty of floss—you’ll have extra. There are no DMC numbers on the floss, but what would you need them for anyway?Kit is best for an intermediate-level stitcher. You probably want to grid your fabric. Design is intricate and has backstitch, but no half-or quarter-stitches. There is a picture in two places to show you whether to use 1 or 2 strands of floss.
