This was a HUGE help! I studied with this book for two months and I passed all four GED subjects with college ready scores! This book is a great help because it gives you 2 full length tests that can help you determine your strengths and weaknesses, as well as hundreds and hundreds of lessons and study guides! It is truly the best GED help. I did not even take one GED Class or anything, I simply studied for two months from home only using this book and YouTube videos! Also a great part of the purchase is that if you do not pass the GED, you get your money back! It is a win-win purchase! I recommend this book to ALL GED test takers out there!

The add states that you get 60 online videos and practice test, but once you register the book online Kaplan then tries to up-sell you the online content for $130!

My daughter tried 3 books from the library and didn't get far trying to study them. But, she requested that I buy this one. She reports that it was way easier to read and seemed much, much more helpful than the other books. It must have worked, as she passed all tests with flying colors.

This is one of the best GED books on the market imo. It comes with so much stuff and makes it so easy to study. I had my daughter who is now almost 16 when I was 16 and due to needing money to raise her I had to drop out and get a job. I am now wanting to get my GED to go back to school and just to have it. Highly recommend this.

Amazing quality. It arrived brand new and in perfect condition. I was skeptical about the book but it's easy to understand and definitely very helpful. The first test is 50 pages in itself (there's two tests. The other is online.) It explains everything you'll possibly need to pass the GED test. It's definitely way better than any free practice tests you'all find online.I recommend you buy the GED Test Premier 2017 vs. the one that's not Premier. It seems the version has more to offer online.I haven't checked out the online stuff yet but I'm excited to get to that point.

Online portion is useless, basically tells you to read your book and refers you to online help at an additional charge.

Some people will do fine with this book, I'm sure. But some people will need help navigating from the pretests to beginning their studies, due to the poor organization of the instructions.It begins with "Getting Started," a description of the 5-step process for completing the book. The remainder of the instructions are not sequential. Instead, fragments of information are presented in a way that I'm sure made sense to the editors, but which I find incomprehensible.The first thing you actually do is take a pretest. But the first section after "Getting Started" is an overview of the GED test itself, providing information that does not apply to the pretest at all. The placement and presentation of this information leads the reader to believe this is the next thing to be understood, directly relevant to where they are in their preparation.Next is a section describing how to use the website's study tools, despite the fact that the reader hasn't taken the pretest yet. Not only is this the wrong time for this information, but most people simply don't need such detailed instructions on using a website.So imagine a reader skipping the section about the website, and this is where you come to the next problem: Poor layout. Since the section headings don't draw attention to themselves as they should, you could easily skip right past the next *highly critical* section, explaining how to build a study plan based on your pretest results. But even if you don't miss it, then it's still the wrong time to be presenting this information.So then the reader takes the pretests. The fact that these don't match the description provided in the GED overview makes it confusing. Hopefully the reader won't miss the fine print at the end of the pretest explaining to go back to the instructions earlier in the book on building a study plan. Otherwise they'll be lost.
