These are very useful little shirt clips. I have very slim waist and oftentimes I want to knot my shirts to get a fitted look. These clips work out great for that purpose. They are really pretty and add style to any shirt. Some can be used on a shrug to clasp the front closed. It would be nice if they came in different colors such as black or rose gold instead of all silver. I used black nail polish to paint one set of the silver clasps so that I would have some variety.

Too bright! But may be treated with products to tone down the brightness & add a nice look of antiquity or color, using oil stains, paint, or other products.

Love clips, but one came with same side so it can not hook together.

There are two types. One hooks on both sides of the shell with a chain between. The other one is two parts that hook together. I haven’t quite figured out which I like best. But they should keep my shawl on my shoulders instead of slipping off.

I was very pleased with this purchase. I ordered the bronze, and they are pretty! The clips are easy to open and close, but they do close tight (good thing). They are fairly heavy and the finish is very nice. Packing is good, each set is in an individual baggy and then in a box. I really don't need eight pieces, so I will be sending a few to my mom. I don't know how these will hold up if accidentally placed in the washing machine, so I don't plan on forgetting to remove them, but who ever plans to forget! The longer pieces could also be used to cinch the back of a blouse or dress.

I only needed one for a costume cloak closure, but after reading other comments/reviews, I will be using them as shirt gathers as well! I'm tall, thin, with longish arms, so any shirt that fits length-wise is usually to wide. These will be perfect to taper the back of a shirt or dress to make a perfect fit with touch of class!They are a nice quality piece of jewelry! Highly recommend!(not light in weight, but not terribly heavy; would not recommend for chiffon like fabric)
