Best D.C. Guide!
I have two other versions of this Washington, D.C. guide & it is by far the best. Just make sure you buy the most current version if planning a trip there as information changes from year to year.

Wonderful Read for a trip to DC.
Great book! I'm planning my trip ahead of time with it and I'm really enjoying it. Many people are complaining that the author didn't mention how the Washington Monument is closed until spring of 2019. I'm sure this was not really their fault. I mean an edit has to be made way before printing and if the news came in afterward, what are they going to do? It is clearly stated on their website though. It's the only thing in the book that is not up to date. The book has plenty of maps and great places to visit... even suggestions for food! It's absolutely great.

Good for those who like to plan
Was great to use for our trip to Washington. The best tip was to enter the zoo at one entrance - which is at the top of the hill - and leave from the bottom entrance = no uphill walking. That alone was worth the price of the book.

I trust Frommers!
I have many Frommer's guides for locations all over the globe. They are very accurate and I try to tick off as many items as possible then use them as scrapbooks for all my ticket stubs photos and sometime pressed flowers and leaves from the destinations. It is really like being able to ask a local.

Good Overview of DC
I'm not going to go into a lot of specifics about the book. It's a guide book and seems to provide a thorough overview of the DC region. What I like about the book is that it has a section on walking tours that will be very useful on out trip to DC in March.

Great D. C
Great D.C. travel guide with map. We give this series to each of our Au Pairs coming to live with us and have loved watching them use the guide book to plan their outings around town.

I did not received it before leaving for my trip. Have read it since returning home and know that it would have been of great value during the trip.
