Got it for pine pellets but it not working well
Got it for pine pellets but it not working well. the whole pellets get stuck in the holes and the half pellets fall right thru. Pine pellets also turned out to be trash so I am using the sawdust version and a regular scoop again. Also, its too small for fully grown cats and too shallow, so only usable as a sifter and not too good at that.

Marginally better than regular litter box
I am mostly happy with this product except that the clumping litter sticks to the sifting pan. Otherwise it’s a good price and mostly achieves the goal of making it easier to keep the box clean.

Good Litter Box
I like the higher sides. Keeps my cat from kicking litter out of the box as much. It doesn't quite sift like I thought it would, and it made a thick layer of urine and litter on the bottom of the box.

Yes and no...
It works great, the issue is that it is just as much work as regular scooping....because you have to use the regular scoop before using the built-in sifter. Essentially when your cat pees the litter clumps below, around, and above the sifter clumps as a whole clump. so in order for the loose/unused litter to go through the sifter, you have to scrap the clumps off the top and bottom, then hit the sifter until the clumps caught in the sifter shake loose.I was using it for everyday use but might just use this litter box for road trips as it would be more convenient in those types of situations. The rationale behind this is having a rest-stop trash can to beat the clumps into instead of trying to avoid getting it everywhere in my bathroom.

Works amazingly well with pine litter
I use pine litter for my cat and this box works perfectly with it. I clean as soon as I see that the cat has done her job - I recommend cleaning as soon as you see the cat has used it. To clean, all I have to do is shake the box a few times, then rinse the dust with the pee that has fallen to the lower compartment, throw the water in the toilet and we are back in business, takes 1 minute with no scooping.I recommended this box to a couple of friends with cats and they love it too. Not sure how this would work with regular litter, but for pine litter (which i like better anyway) it's great. Nothing gets stuck in the mesh because the pine pellets are big enough and only when they get wet and turn into dust they go through the mesh. It also helps me be very economical with the litter - for about a month, less than half of the 18lbs bag has been used (for 1 cat). No need for a scoop any more. The poop can be taken out with toilet paper or another means, and it's easy.I also like the size of the box, not too big, so easy to sift, but also not too small - perfect for 1 cat.

Great for giant bunny rabbit
I bought this for my 18lb, 2.5 ft long Flemish Giant bunny "Caramelo". The product is 4 pieces: A tan high side piece, the sifter piece, and 2 blue bottom boxes. This sifter has holes that are too small for my bunnies poo but I bought it mostly for urine to help my bunny so he doesnt sit on wet litter and get his fur dirty and matted.Problem i had was the sifter goes all the way down when weight is applied. To fix this I cut strips of cardboard and rolled them up. Then covered them in plastic (shaws bag in my case). Taped them up.I made 5 which made the sifter sit about 1.5inches higher but can now support my heavy bunny. I added some litter. Tied down the sifter to the tray using twine (my bunny doesnt like to eat twine but he does like to lift things with his hulk strength so I HAD to secure my tray and sifter)( I've added pictures of what I did before and after)The finished product fit perfectly in the dog cage my freerange bunny has as a bathroom/dinningroom.*bunny aproved*(with twine, cardboard, and some plastic bags you can easily make this work for any bunny rabbit litter box)

Bunnies like it
I got this to use pan separately from the sifter for pine pellet litter. After leaving the sifter and second pan lying around nested, I discovered my bunnies like using the sifter and don't need litter in the top at all. I have started leaving some used pine litter underneath the sifter for them. I only have one sifter and since I use it with all the different litter boxes, now I want to get another set to be able to use the sifter in the cage litterbox too.All base pieces (pans and sifter) nest equally with each other. This means you can attach the sidewalls to the sifter or the pan. I really like how much this allows for custom configuration. For bunnies, some poops get stuck in the mesh and especially some of the smaller pine pellets. If you have OCD about anything remaining in the mesh you might want to keep looking because you will spend too much time fussing with it.

Good for Pine Pellet Litter
I was looking for something for our rabbit's pine pellet letter. It works really well with them. The openings are a little big but the big pellets definitely don't fall through and those that get a little stuck in the holes you can just brush right out. It definitely beats scooping and sifting little by little for sure. I sift it every night and add a cup or replacement pellets and I'm all good.*One tip for rabbit owners like me - Use one of the blue pans (it comes with two solid blue and one sifter white) for the litter box without the white sifting insert. What I do is take the hay out of the active blue pan, dump the pellets into the white insert that is on the other blue pan, sift into that one and then dump the clean pellets back into the original blue pan. Then I empty the dirty sawdust into the trash and just store the extra blue and white sifter together. It makes it really quick and easy this way.
