I love this thing! I'm a teacher and I keep it pinned to a bulletin board in my classroom with a row of thumb tacks through the top. I keep Wet Erase Markers in the first section, dry erase in the second, and extra pencils for my students in the third. Only downside: the magnets are basically useless, which is why I have to keep it pinned to the wall instead of just sticking it to the whiteboard as I'd originally planned.

Magnets are weak, there’s only a few small ones on it. I use it to put plastic name tags in so it doesn’t weigh very much at all and it could not hold them up. I just attached a Velcro strip to the back of mine so it’s not a huge deal but if you’re not wanting to do that or glue more magnets on the back you will not be happy with the product. I also noticed one side of it on mine is not attached.

The basket itself is good quality but the magnets do not hold it up if theres anything in it. I keep mine on my fridge for chalk for my kids chalkboard wall and without a heavy maget under the basket to hold it up, it will fall.

Good for holding pens, but doesn't sit perfectly flat on the table so rocks a tiny bit. We're keeping it because it doesn't seem like it will fall over, but would have been nice for it to sit flatter.

Does the job and its cute. Only 4/5 stars because the magnets aren't powerful enough to hold this up with any amount of real products. I added a couple more magnets and it now works great.

I loved this style for organizing all my writing tools, however, the magnets give under the weight of it.If you even remotely fill this, the magnets are not strong enough to support it.I tried to put it on my fridge and it just slid all the way down.Seems like stronger magnets would be pretty inexpensive and would vastly improve the function of this item.I've got it sitting on a desk now, however, the whole point of getting this was to avoid cluttering up the desk.

It's a standard quality mesh holder with roomy, tall compartments perfect for markers, etc. but the magnets are very small/lightweight and there are not enough magnets to hold it securely to the metal surface. If it is not balanced and one side has heavier items than the other, it will tilt to that heavier side. I attached some additional magnets to hold it in place so I am keeping it but I would not have purchased it had I known the magnets were this non-supportive.

I use a lot of different writing utensils for my job. I needed a desk organizer that offered alot of space for pens particularly. It does! It is sturdy and unobtrusive. The one negative I have is that the magnets are not powerful enough to support the pen holder when it's completely full. I didn't purchase it to hang it somewhere so I gave it the full 5 stars.
