The cam is small, good quality and well built. Simple and easy to setup with the IMOU Life App.The cam captures very high quality video 4MP resolution video (day and night) which is sharp and clear when viewed on the mobile app and can see small details when you view it on a big TV screen 42/55 inch. Human detection using PIR is accurate without false detection. Spotlight is bright, so is the two way talking which is clear and loud.Since this is battery operated, it is easy to install anywhere without worrying the need to have a power point to power it. Can't tell how long the battery last yet since I only have it installed for about a week. But so far the battery is still about 92% after about week plus of usage and some initial testing detection (96%), despite having full 4MP recording and auto spotlight enabled. So far given it is recording 4MP video resource, I guess it is pretty good. Can set to battery saving, or schedule the timing you want the cam to be activated. I guess it depends on how much activities as well as what features you enable, but the IMOU Life app will indicate the battery life, so can always recharge it when the battery is low.You have the option to save the video into 128GB micro SD card, so there is no need for cloud services. However, you can also activate the cloud service if you need it (which will require a monthly subscription). So good for either users who do not want any subscription and/or for those who need some cloud recording services as well.This is uses micro usb, so you can easily charge it with any power point. No need to worry about whether you need a US/UK or whatever international plug adapter, since it comes with USB charging cable.Overall, it is a very good quality cam for some peace of mind security system for the home. Impressed with the overall quality of the cam as well as IMOU life app. Simple to use, and easy to share cam with additional family members to monitor for any intrusion.

I got a Bullet 2C for the back of my shop for added security. I am very satisfied with the camera. The setup is very easy. I was able to view live video with audio less than ten minutes after I started, even with me fumbling with Wifi and downloading app to my phone.I am also very impressed with the human detection AI. It will send a notification to my phone right away if it detects any people, but it will not trigger the alarm if a car goes by. My friend tried to fool the system by waving the broom in front of the camera but it would not trigger the alarm. However, the camera sent the notification to my phone immediately when he twerking in front of the camera. LOL. While it’s funny, it’s also impressive how the camera was able to pick up the human shape, even when the face was obscure.Good price, easy installation, great picture quality, and smart AI. A great security camera.

The picture quality is good given that it is only a 2k camera. It works with RTSP, Blue Iris with ease. It does Wide Dynamic Range. They call it HDR, but it is not HDR as in the TV sense. It's WDR in the security camera sense. Very useful for Ai object detection in Blue Iris/Deep Stack. The only flaw is that its person detection does NOT work at night. It works nearly 100% perfectly during the daytime though. I knew this already from my purchase of the Amcrest 1080p version of this camera. I have no problem with the camera finding every bug, rain, etc as a "person" at night when its IR lights come on. I use Blue Iris' object/person detection so I turned off its Ai person detection from the start. This is maybe important to someone not using Blue Iris and using the camera and its app alone though! If you plan on using the camera as a stand-alone I would recommend upgrading to the Spot Light version as you can set it to always-on color night vision. The person Ai detection should work flawlessly even at night then!Update #2Basically, this is a "home camera" so do not expect AI human detection to work. This is straight from Imou. You can take this as gospel for the Amcrest version as well! As I said, unless you are using something like Blue Iris this is NOT the camera for you. I knew this before I purchased. Even if you get the spotlight version you are on your own when it comes to tech support. You are a home user and thus do not expect them to live up to their advertising. Again, you are on your own. I am an advanced "home" user that comes from a long IT background, I knew this before I purchased these cameras. If you are not an IT advanced tech person, go somewhere else for your home security needs. This is not a camera with "some false positives". It is 100% false positives if used as they advertise. If that is the case, should you not tell people this information before they buy your cameras? I do not see ths on your website nor do I see it on Amazon or AliExpress. People are going to get mad finding this out after they spend their hard earned money. On your website and Amazon your advertisement states “Human detection, greatly eliminates false alarms!”. That is a complete lie from what you are telling me.Also, I already tried adjusting the sensitivity settings. (see my first email) Even set to the lowest of 1, everything is human/people. I still get 100% false positive alerts. I just lose real positive detections. That is just as bad if not worse!I just found some reviews on Amazon stating the people detection has been in optimization since last year?!? The ones without the spotlights. I love the Ai Human detection feature. Saying that I find it stops working as soon as it goes into night vision mode and switches on the IR lights. It then detects every movement as “Human”. This includes flying insects, rain, blowing leaves, bright lights, etc. It works flawlessly when not in night/IR mode…. As in I get nearly 0% false alerts. At nighttime, I get nearly 100% false alerts. I have adjusted the sensitivity from 5 to 1, but still, get nonstop false alerts in night vision. The cameras think everything that moves is “Human”. See this Youtube video as an example of what I am talking about. You can jump to 17:25 of the video where he is talking about this exact issue. I am not sure if a firmware update could correct this or not. Purchased the product, I didn't even get through half of the installation process and it wouldn't cooperate with me. I tried reading the instructions, starting installation all over again, youtube videos, was just not cooperating.

Easy to hook up.all the right parts for installation. Great picture.Night vision is spot on!
