Cloverleaf SA1 Sludge Answer, Clear, 1 Litre & BA1KG Blanket Answer, Beige, 800 g

We have used three of these in our pond so far, and it is definitely a bit better. However, I suspect we may need at least another 10 before it will start to clear our Pond! Thus making it a very expensive thing to do.We have moved to a property with a very large pond and would suspect that the previous owners never cleared the sludge over the 12 years they lived there, as it is several inches deep!We are not sure what to do going forward, as it is likely to cost a lot of money to continue doing it this way.For people that only have a small pond or not too much sludge, I would recommend trying this as I'm pretty sure it will do the job.

this is the only product to kil blanket weed that I have ever found does not harm fish or plants just put it in pond as it says on package and water will go white mine lasted a day after a week you start to think nothing is happening then all of a sudden blanket weed starts dying some times you might need a second dosing if it comes back my pond is now completely clear

The only thing wrong with this product that I can see, is that for your average pond with average silt on the bottom, you need a lot more of it than the instructions suggest. I have a concrete pond painted white so I can see what's happening to the sludge. It took quite some time and more product than expected before I could start to see the bottom though gaps in the sludgery. It doesn't seem unreasonable to me to expect deep sludge to need more product than thin layers. Buy twice as much as they suggest.

This product, although less expensive than others I have used in the past, did as I had hoped. After dosing with the blanket weed remover I poured half the contents of the sludge remover into my 1500 gallon pond and found that within a few days it was beginning to clear. I waited a couple of weeks and used the rest of the product and now the little rill pouring into my pond is as clear as if from the tap. Sludge Answer is definitely my choice from now on.

Great product, when used as follow up to Blanket Answer, the combination has worked and solved a long difficult problem to eradicate. My pond is subject to the sun for some 7hrs a day when it is out so needed a great solution, green algae grows out of control, this is the answer. My pond has been in place for 30 years, numerous other products tried, this summer my pond is clear at last. Recommend.

I have been using Blanket Answer for several years as a effective Blanket weed killer but I had problems with Sludge collecting in my pump this year so I thought I would try Sludge Answer. I was surprised to find that after a week the pond was starting to clear the sludge with no blockages in my pump. Very satisfied customer.

Product arrived well pa key and on time. I have followed instructions and put some in the pond, followed by a maintenance dose. It's too early yet to know if it's working, but the filters are certainly pretty grubby when I clean them so hopefully it's doing its job. Had a grasss snake in there so it certainly isn't harming any of the wildlife.

I originally started buying blanket weed killer from this seller and was so pleased with that product, I decided to try this one as well, and I have been very pleased indeed .I have no,idea "where" the sludge disappears To, but it does, and quite quickly.I am very pleased to recommend this product to anyone else with this problem in their pond,Oh! I would add that I have several fish in my pond and neither product has affected them one bit. ;0)
