Super easy
As a single lady I was worried I'd find this hard to replace. Not at all! Shipped fast, easy install and super happy. I have a 2006 Springdale and was worried things would be very different. Thankfully I had it in and working in 35 minutes. Think taking old one out took most of the time. I did use the old casing for the inside so it all matched. Was just in time for the rain and no leaks. The fan is a little loud and the crank is not highest quality. Yet I wasn't expecting it to be for the price. It fixed the problem I faced and should be just fine for my needs. The fact it held out the rain that came I'd say it's perfect.If you want super thick high quality then spend the money for that. However this one is great and works as it should

Great item
Accurate as shown but I'm disappointed that I couldn't return this item. There wasn't anything wrong with it but I didn't wind up needing it and I hate that I couldn't return it and get my money back.

Doesn't work
I installed the vent in my new inclosed car hauler. Following the instructions to the tee. Pushed the on button on the remote with no results.

Well built, fits well.
Very well built. Easy installation, fits well and all screw holes line up. replaced old vent in a 37 ft motorhome. Motor on the fan has less noise then old motor.

Spray lube inside the hood winding caseing.
The media could not be loaded. The item is nice but feels very fragile. The hood is going to be what I worry about after two years in the sun. Thin plastics. I had to spray the winding handle gear box. It was rough and catching. The lube fixed that. It winds smooth and easy now.
