Mexican Glass DOF Blue Rim

I bought these glasses because I wanted something attractive for every day that wouldn't tip easily when one of my very large dogs gives a hard bump to a table or gives the glass on the coffee table a bit of a tail swish. They serve that purpose admirably because their short, wide shape makes them very stable.As well as being artistically appealing these glasses are amazingly durable. I've had a set of juice glasses like them since the early 80's and have only lost one to breakage despite quite careless handling. The glass broke from thermal shock mentioned in the description. Dear spouse put ice in the glass right out of a very hot dishwasher, a very unwise thing to do with any glass, even pyrex. Also, I've never bothered to hand wash these glasses and they hold up to being put in the dishwasher like champs.I would have appreciated seeing the approximate glass size in the description which is approximately 3 3/8 W" x 5/14" H which varies a bit from glass to glass because they are handmade. The size is to large for a child to grasp comfortably.The vendor shipped very quickly and provided excellent packing.

I thought (from reading the other reviews) that this would be a set of 4 glasses. When I received, it was only one glass. This VERY expensive for just one glass. I have gotten these for $4 apiece, so $13 + too much. Should probably send it back, but the cost of shipping would be almost as much as just going out and buying a couple more.

Well, on second thought...they lasted maybe 2 months. I have to wash dishes by hand, and they both cracked. I'm not sure if it happened in the sink or not....I'm very careful with my glassware, and these must have been 2nds.

This is a truly lovely piece of glassware. I have little hands, so it's a tad big for my tiny digits. It's great for making cold drinks for a manly man with big hands!! I love the cobalt color ... as it accents so many other colors.

the glasses were packed in newspaper and all four glasses came broken.

I bought these to replace some of mine that had been broken. They fit in well with my collection which I love and am constantly replacing glasses in it. They are a little larger than the ones I was replacing.

Met all my needs and expectations! I needed to replace a glass I broke. It was bought while in Mexico and this was a perfect match.

These are adorable glasses, You can serve drinks in them but I also saw them used as toothpick holders at a Mexican restaurant, so clever and cute an idea. Heavy, beautiful and nice to have.
