Top right and left vent ports provide optimal air intake and cooling while the interior of Elite helmets is mesh with a padded Cool-On lining that wicks moisture away from the rider's head. Small foam pads across the inside of the helmet combined with its ultra-lightweight construction add to the supreme comfort of the Elite helmets. The harness has a clip closure adjustable chin-strap. Flattering and functional at a reasonable price point
If you have a fairly round head like me, the standard version of this helmet should fit you well (they also make it in a long oval version). I inserted the extra padding strips where I could feel it wasn't snug and it fits like a glove. It's about as comfy and low profile a helmet as I've ever had, and in the show ring, it rivals the looks of much pricier helmets.My old helmet was this same one and I only replaced it because it did its job protecting my head during an accident. After about 4 years of no careful handling at all, I could still clean it up for a show.One suggestion - since I use this helmet every day, I use it with a bandana underneath to keep it from absorbing too much sweat and getting that stanky thing going on. The vents work as well as is possible (more airflow if you're cantering than walking). If you're sweaty-headed like me, you'll appreciate the extra airflow.Several friends have gotten various versions of this helmet such as leather covering, and they all look very nice on. The price point is reasonable, especially if you're someone not willing to shell out $500 for the fancy Samshields or GPAs.I purchased this helmet from EquestrianPros and was happy with the delivery and service.

Excellent helmet
When I started jumping again, I promised myself I'd get a better helmet than my beginner Troxel. My trainer told me to get an IRH and the price for this wonderful helmet is quite the deal on Amazon. I did have to use the foam inserts (that come with the helmet) to get a custom fit but it fits like a glove. I was riding yesterday and realized that I had forgotten to fasten my chin strap...that's how well it fits. zero movement but not tight. The only thing I don't like is that it's NOT low profile. But if you don't care about that, and want a superb, safe helmet, this is it.

Great value for money and fits very well
Like fit very much. It’s very comfortable. I haven’t fallen off my horse yet with it on so I can’t comment on sturdiness and head protection. Hope I don’t have to find out!

Looks good and a good price. The internalFoam does get pressed in after some wear so you need to start with a pretty tight fit.

I am really happy with this helmet
I am really happy with this helmet. My previous helmet was an IRH that came only in small, medium, and large with liners of different thickness. The medium was just a little too tight and the large was too big. I like that this helmet comes in more sizes and the 7 fits me perfectly. It feels like it sits down and around more, therefore I feel more protected. rye only thing I don't love is the liner can't be removed to be washed. It's a great helmet and I would definitely buy it again.

Good helmet for the price....
Fits well and is affordable. The manufacturer's website states the lining is washable, I mistakenly took this as removable. After contacting the manufacturer, the liner can not be removed to be washed.
