Don't listen to the whinner reviews! These are awesome!
These showed up super fast. Well packed and photo instructions with semi bad english. I saw a few people growing over the 3 screws to hold battery cover in place. If you can't handle that then go back to your couch with your walker and read newspaper. Almost comical, took 3 seconds to do with #1 Phillips. Then you see the next fool life death struggle to insert the battery.. clearly says in the instructions insert the 1 battery first.. then the set of 2 second lol i guess the public schools failed that poor guy? Then you get to the rants about 2 zip ties for the 2 spokes it will attach to... now you bought a 18$ bicycle light kit. What did you expect clamps made out of chome vanadium. Batteries last 40 hours.. take the two zip ties off replace the batteries use to more. Lol they sent 8 zip ties! So in 140 hours when your done lol buy another 200 for 3$ at HF. Just crazy people not pick over stupid things for a 18$ item . Hate to tell yeah the 100$ version is not exactly easier cause I have those to! Now that stupid stuff is aside people noted is explained. These light up and work awesome. About 30 patterns and they are bright. Very impressed how clear they look going about 8mph. So if 3 screws and 2 zip ties and installing batteries correctly are not a complete overly mentality challenging task for you these will make you happy!

Cool Gift For The Grandkids!
The media could not be loaded. I am in the process of wrapping these bike lights up and sending them to the grandkids for Christmas. Each light bar takes 3 AAA batteries. They are very bright, even in the daylight. They appear easy to install on a bike wheel with the included tie wraps. I hope the grandkids aren’t too hard on the bike lights, for they are made of plastic. I think the light patterns are pretty cool and I hope the kids enjoy them.

Pretty good, but not perfect
I just put these on and they look great. Time will tell how well they hold up.A couple of things to be aware of:You don't get to choose a pattern. It randomly cycles through the whole set.The instructions don't do a good job of explaining how to attach and use the lights. It's not that hard to figure out, though.Tiny screws to open/close the battery case are bad, especially since you zip-tie the light in place. You either have to cut and replace the zips every time you want to replace the batteries, or you must hold your screwdriver in the middle of the spokes while you screw/unscrew the screws. Bigger screws would be much better. Better yet would be a removable battery pack or a separate batter pack that attaches elsewhere to the wheel, like other bike lights.Zip ties to attach the lights are not ideal unless you're worried about them being stolen. Better to have something that could be easily taken on and off the bike.

Safe, fun, pretty
No batteries included, 3 triple A’s needed! You need eyeglass screwdrivers to open and close battery container. Instructions were no help! I had to figure everything by myself! Once it was on, it is magic! I received many compliments as well as I feel very safe riding at night, especially with a headlamp and back flashers! All angles are covered bathed in bold light! I feel like a kid again enjoying my bike!

Cool product,
WHICH HAVE ONLY LASTED 3 DAYS,UNTIL THEY GOT A LITTLE WET.I LIKED THEM SO MUCH, that when it rained for 3 daysHere in houstonAnd they subsequently quit working,I ordered a second set.The power button is what is malfunctioning. This is the 5th Chinese companyWhich manufactures bike spoke lights, and all 5 of them have terrible power button designs; They all malfunctioned within 10 pushes of the power supply.Terbul, terbul, terbul. How can you, poor designers that you are, sleep at night, knowing you stole from every person who believed in your product? It is a high quality resolution,WHEN IT OPERATES, butMost of the time,It DOES NOT WORK.SCREW YOU GUYSI just wanted to enhanceThe visibility of my bike,But with flashy style,Like I am a parade. But your faulty designHas caused me to waste over $32 for 2 separate sets. I wish your customer service representativesWere here in the United states,Where I could track them down and confront them,In person if necessary,And ask themHOW IN THE HELLCAN YOU SELL A PRODUCT DESIGNED TO BREAK

Do not believe the pics.
I gave these 1 star simply because some of the lights do come on while the wheels are spinning, and all of them do come on when you click the on switch, however, there are no designs. it works well as an added safety light. They say the wheels need to be spinning between 15 km per hr and 60 km per hr. That's 9.32 miles per hour and 37 miles per hour. Well, I ride 30 miles in one go. My average speed is 12.5 miles per hour. I go up and down hills along the way and sometimes have rate higher and lower than the average. Sometimes I go down hills quite fast. Not at any time did these light make any type of pattern as shown in the ads...and how many people can ride a bike 37 miles per hour...

Awesome Light Show
The media could not be loaded. This product was reasonably priced, easy to install and puts on a wonderful light show. Would be great for bikers of all ages, it’s fun and makes you more visible to motorist. Every time we go out we get motorist honking because they love the light show it puts on.

So they aren't in purple but green red and blue and the patterns at night are sick!
The media could not be loaded. These were very simple to install, they come with the hardware but take 3AAA batteries. I'm pretty impressed after reading the review. S. They aren't in purple but red, green, and blue, and they make some killer patterns that are easily visible.
