Project E Beauty 6 Argon Gas Violet and Neon Gas Orange Electrodes D'arsonval High frequency Apparatus Home Use Skin Care Device

I am currently in school to be an esthetician and fell in love with high frequency in class. I did a lot of research online and ended up choosing this one. It came very quickly (2 days) and I was so excited that I opened it up and used it immediately. It works great! I absolutely love the rod for my hormonal acne, using the direct method makes them shrink right in front of your eyes if done correctly! I would give this product 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that my mushroom AND horseshoe both don't work at all. I even tested it out in the dark to see if the glow was just less noticeable, but there was absolutely nothing, even when I grounded it. I absolutely love this device and am disappointed that I can't give it more than 3 stars :(

I chose this because it comes with both argon and neon gas tubes, I was told the argon (violet) was specifically good for acne targeted areas.. the little nodule tube is a argon gas one and I love it, I use it for Zapping zits.. I put some acne specific cream or oil on after and voila! Pimples gone. Of course you need to moisturize.. a lot because this does dry out your skin, and use some sort of serum before using the machine to help your skin absorb it better and it makes it easy to glide it all around. The mushroom tube is really cool too, it doesn’t pack as big of a punch as the little one but that’s good sometimes. Make sure you are always in contact with the glass tubing so you don’t zap yourself, but even if you do it doesn’t hurt. All of my tubes worked perfectly, if yours doesn’t work right away.. try taking the glass part out a few times and twisting it back in tightly but gently and tap it a few times with your finger after you’ve switched it on. Clean them after and before each use, I use rubbing alcohol.I’m happy with this machine it makes me feel like I’m my own esthetician!

It came in & did what it said it would, but it is def not as powerful as others. I thought I was upgrading from my old (cheap) one to this one (pricey). But I was wrong. It is nice that it comes with all the wands I want, but it is weak and doesn't perform nearly as well as the other. So now I'm going back to use the old (cheap) one.

Clear skin is before using product, broken out skin is after using with no change in routine or serums. It’s been a week and I’m still breaking out! It also broke out my chest were I used it, but that at least seems to be going awayI really had high hopes for this device. One of the wands arrived with a scratch on the glass, and the customer service was excellent as far as communication and arranging to send a replacement wand. I did see other small nicks in the other glass wands, and then I started getting scared reading reviews where the wands cracked while using.The wands lit up and did what they were supposed to do I guess, I only used it twice. Both times after using I developed a lot of small comedones, like you would get with cosmetic acne from pore clogging ingredients. I hadn’t used anything different except the machine, and am not prone to breakouts so I can assume that it was the cause. I’m surprised because it’s touted as an acne fighter. My entire face is covered in small comedones now. They are way worse in the areas I concentrated the neon wand (bought this for anti aging) bad as in, almost every single pore.I hope they start to go away because my skin was looking pretty clear and now I look like a teenager again, and not in a good way. This may work better for others but I did not have a good experience with it, and on top of that it is a bit scary to use. If it worked well, I might put up with the risk. For now I’m sticking to LED therapy

Customer Service has been excellent throughout my experience— quick to respond, plus very helpful & hospitable! With expedited shipping it arrived 2 days from order, & was packed soundly, so no damage. I’d advise keeping the Project E Beauty (PEB) box that holds the glass tubes & wand — it will prevent damage when carting around. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks & use it daily (maximum 20 min. each use to prevent wand burnout...after a 20 min. cool-down the wand can be used again). I like this wand’s low wattage — it allows me to use it at the highest setting without feeling overstimulated. I used another company’s wand (10 watts max) & found the highest setting was too intense. PEB’s instructions are helpful to read per how to correctly use & preserve their product, & I appreciate their detail-orientation, especially the wattage range (1-6 watts)— in investigating several brands I learned that 10 watts (& higher) does Not mean more healing & it shortens the life of the wand, so I was glad to see PEB’s lower range! The glass tubes do Not seem thin, & in using them I feel they won’t break easily. Also nice is the quality (thick/well-insulated) & length of cord. The control switch is on the cord but separate from the wand, so at times this can be difficult to adjust with greasy hands while using it, but it seems like this design allows for it to be replaced, so I’m hoping this means the wand is repairable (not disposable). Lastly, I LOVE that PEB’s wand offers BOTH neon (orange) & violet (argan) tubes— only one other company offered this, but their product was about $60 more, the wattage was above 10 watts, & the warranty only 6 months! In total, so far, I feel PEB offers a high-quality product & customer service for a more affordable price than other brands.I’ve found the violet tubes, combined with the “sparkle method” (see instruction book) & a mint-family essential oil, have helped speed up the healing of my bug bites (ie, they itch for 1-2 days instead of a week). Since I’ve only been using it 2 weeks I can’t say I’ve noticed a major difference yet regarding other issues. The orange tubes have begun to lessen the muscle pain I’ve had from TMJ, but I’ve had this condition for 25+ years so I know it will take a while before this shifts. Be aware the ozone, which results from using this device, has a drying effect (great for reducing inflammation) so if you’re using this to reduce wrinkles/dry-skin then do as the booklet advises & use a good oil (eg, argan, coconut) or “clean” (ie, no unnatural chemicals) moisturizer.As per conditions this device can be used for, the booklet helpfully lists absolute & relative contraindications as precautions... I’d encourage you to learn what conditions Tesla, Oudin, & Lakhovsky intended this invention (a.k.a the “Violet Ray”) to be used for (I would Not recommend wikipedia as a realiable source), & also consult with holistic practitioners for guidance with this device & your particular health issues.

Hesitated at first because of the price, but I definitely was happy I paid what I did for a quality product. We use this in my spa, and the option to switch to a different color comes in very handy. All the tools fit very tightly into the wand and all work really well. Overall a great product and have had no problems since we started using it. Love it and will buy it again in the future should we need another one!

Works well! I can definitely see the differences after a couple of uses. Great product.
