My grand daughter loves birds right now at 10 months. These are so cute and a little bigger than I thought, but maybe better for handling. Great quality and ready to be played with, no batteries to install. The sound only plays twice, so it’s not annoying. Thank you

Grandchild has a love for cardinals from always seeing her grandfather in his University of Louisville cardinal t-shirts. This is a cute small stuffed cardinal bird animal.

After I tore the packaging open with my teeth, I gave the Wild Republic Audubon Birds Northern Cardinal Plush with Authentic Bird Sound, Stuffed Animal, Bird Toys for Kids and Birders my usual treatment for birding decoys: thrice through the dishwasher, thrice hair dryer, storied it in a sealed garbage bag of garden dirt, moldy leaves, and a handful of snails for 6 weeks to eliminate any human odor. I then placed it strategically atop a branch of a 150-foot-high dying ash tree out back and waited...INSTANT ACTION! Within 14 days, the tree was visited by three Northern Cardinals, several cicadas, a small child's kite, a large Robin (may have been an Osprey--it was windy and my optics were shaky, at best), a smattering of house sparrows and local wrens, the neighbor's cat, an exploded Taco Bell burrito wrapper, a common grackle, and two raccoons. This a good product. It turned my humble backyard into The Banging Gardens of Babylon.

I actually bought this for my dog. She previously had the goldfinch but time and 2 previous dogs wore him out. It's a little tricky to get him to sing. Once you know how it's fine.

My 5 year old grandson loves birds! His mom bought him the Robin and he was anxious to start a collection. He picked out the cardinal and we will keep going. They are very cute and and the sound of the call is realistic. An educational toy!
