Pretty good
So far, it exceeded my expectations. The build quality is good and the adapter works great. No delay in focus or any other mechanism.

Works as described
Adapter seems to be very well made. Feels solid. It is a pretty simple step up size adapter which also allows the cameras electronics to communicate with the non native lens. Seems to do the job well. Wish i’d purchased this a couple of years ago.

New Life For EF Lenses On My Canon M50
I had an old Canon EOS 80D that broke. And still had 3 EF lenses for it just sitting around, 35-75, 70-300, and 18mm. Since I replaced the 80D with the M50, those three lenses were unusable until now. This Valtrox Lens Mount Adapter EF-EOS M2 fit my Canon M50 perfect and gave those old EF lenses new life. It’s amazing that this adapter with those old EF lenses makes the picture and video quality so much better! I was getting a communications error on the camera at first, but a simple cleaning of the gold contacts on the old lenses solved that issue. I can’t speak for the other Canon cameras this adapter will fit, but if you have a Canon M50 and some EF lenses, it’s definitely worth the investment!

Makes Life Easier but Some Drawbacks.
I love that I have autofocus on my GH5. Dont get me wrong, its not like its a bad product. This is an EXTREMELY budget friendly alternative to having a metabones. The updates to the adapter and to the GH5 only improves it more and more. BUT; the biggest con for me is the noise of the autofocus for video. The autofocus gets me well enough, there are random ghost focuses sometimes. BUT I use my adapter for vlogging because I cant manual focus holding my camera on myself. Even with a rode mic, the whirling of the autofocus is in the audio and it sucks to have because its so noticeable. Having the autofocus find the subject really fast is so game changing but for video, the whirling kills it almost, I just have to walk around with an external audio device and its just more gear to lug around.Otherwise the pros are stellar. The magnification allowing more light in is a huge plus. Your aperture for Canon lenses get close to the actual light you would get on a full body. Be able to change the aperture in body too without having to put the lens on a canon, changing the aperture, and then back to the GH5. Trust me, if you hadn't had an adapter for your GH5, this will change your world.

Absolutely awesome + 1 f-stop!!!
So I got myself a Canon M50. Very similar to the Canon 77D I already owned features-wise, but significantly smaller and lighter. I was a little bummed that I needed to get all new glass because of the EF-M mount, but then it turns out that there’s adapters that let you use your EF and EF-S lenses on the EF-M mount, albeit with the same 1.6x crop factor as my 77D, both being crop-sensor cameras. I'd been watching M50 review videos on YouTube and in one of them someone mentioned the Viltrox EF-EOS M2 Lens Adapter. Honestly, it sounded too good to be true at first. So you’re telling me I get an adapter that will make my EF lenses look almost their actual focal length (about 1.1x instead of 1.6x) AND also gain a full f-stop for about 150 USD? Yeah, right… I kept watching reviews on the Viltrox adapter until curiosity finally got the best of me. I ended up buying one from Amazon, hoping for the best. First thing I did, I had to try my beloved nifty-fifty (EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens). Using the Viltrox adapter it now looks like a 56-57 mm lens (50 * 1.6 * .071) which is not bad at all. But wait, when using the lens and adjusting the aperture on the camera, it didn’t stop at f/1.8 but rather all the way down to f/1.2! My lens, brand new, goes for 125 USD on Canon’s website. The 50mm f/1.2 also on Canon’s website goes for 1,349 USD. I’m getting the aperture of a 1,300 dollar lens for less than 300 dollars (lens + Viltrox adapter). Sure, it’s not quite the same but I’m very much a beginner/enthusiast, so it's more than enough for me right now. That’s an excellent price point for such an awesome aperture on a prime lens. That’s only talking about the one lens, though. Got any EF lenses sitting around? Pop them into this glorious thing right here and get almost full-frame images out of them with extra aperture. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Get this adapter NOW!

If you own an M50 this product will open up you lens choices drastically.
This product, and all their products have changed the way I use my cameras. I can now use all my EF mount lenses with my Canon M50. The build quality is as good as Canon, or any other high end lens I've used.Fit was perfect and all electronics worked flawlessly (auto focus and stabilization). This now expands the lenses made for the M50 from 6 to all the EF lenses (which is many). The one thing to take note, before purchasing, is that only EF lenses work on this adapter and not EF-S mount lenses. I don't understand why they can't make a speed booster to allow the use of myEF and EF-S lenses though. The non speed booster version of this product (the one with no optics in it) that they make, allow me to use both types, why can't they make a speed booster that accepts all my EF and EF-S lenses like their cheaper adapter?Besides that one issue, I still recommend this product. It will open up your lens choices for your Canon M50 and is made of nothing but the best quality material.
