Just got the headlamp yesterday and noticed it didn't have the "Nightstrike" headband. Contacted the seller and they offered to send one. Haven't used it much yet, but regarding the headlamp:Nice compact design, not too bulky, no external battery pack.Looks well made.Comes with a plastic case.Light in the center, power switch on top.For the light I received - "Cool White" light - slightly warmer than "Magnus Atlas headlamp".Haven't tested the included 2200mAh battery, I just used a 2600mAh 18650 button top that I already had precharged-and after two hours on high, the light is still brightly on - as I type this review.The 1-100% dimming feature was probably the main reason for buying this headlamp. Brightness is adjustable by holding the power button down while the headlamp is on. Basically the lamp cycles through two modes by pressing the power button: mode1, mode2, and off. Brightness can be adjusted for both modes independently by simply holding the power button down while in that mode, and levels for both modes will be stored in memory until the battery is removed. So mode1 could be set anywhere from 1-100% bright, and mode2 could also be set anywhere from 1-100%. Once a battery is re-installed, brightness settings will revert to factory settings, and can be adjusted for both modes again. (Default settings seem to be about 100% and 50% for the two modes) Additionally, quickly double pressing the power button while the lamp is on enters strobe and another double press enters SOS mode.Overall: Like the all-in-one design. Like that brightness can be adjusted. Like not cycling through strobe and sos every time.

Really liked the headlamp, durable and bright! However it's only been a year and it has already stopped working. Not sure if it needs a battery replacement. Hoping nightstrike can help me out. Would give 5 stars if the problem is resloved.

After receiving my headlamp, I responded to the sellers email with a request for a manual or instructions for the unit... I guess not receiving the instructions is the least of my issues with the purchase, the headlamp absolutely SUCKS!!!I charged the provided battery, tested that the headlamp worked and packed it away for my bison bow hunt. What a mistake, the lamp remained lit for no more than 90 seconds before it dimmed and then kicked into strobemode. Thankfully I brought a spare lamp!! Thinking the battery was the culprit, I've recharged it three additional times with the same results (varying duration but basically the same outcome).Unless you want to donate $55 without the federal tax deduction, do yourself a favor and either save your money or look for another option as this headlamp is horrible!!

Great for construction. Two setting are both bright. Flickers every once in a while like the battery isn't making good contact.

This headlamp is very bright! I currently use a Fenix headlamp and this one blows it out of the park! Easy to use and it has different brightness. best thing is I don't have to keep buying batteries because it uses a rechargeable battery and comes with the charger. It also comes with a case!

This is the best headlamp I have ever tried. It is built as well as you might hope and I am sure it will serve my continuous use for a long time to come. It is extremely bright at full power when you need it; great that it dims to zero when you don't.

I love this thing! I've put this thru allot of use, all except rain, I really love it!

Bought this headlamp for my husband who is an electrician. It is extremely bright. Very well made and durable and he loves it. Good product.
