Weight Loss for People Who Feel Too Much
This book and program are absolutely transformational. I received a copy when I saw Colette on The Doctor's show and "devoured" every word. And I purchased 5 copies to "pay it forward". If you're someone who feels too much and eats to feel better about yourself or your environment - then this book is for you. Before the book, I was one of the lucky ones to go through Colette's ground breaking program and the book has even more helpful tips and ideas. I am a completely different person (inside and out) because I changed my perspective based on Colette's book and program. I no longer feel responsible for carrying the weight of the world and released painful life-long memories. As a result I noticed my clothes were looser and I recently puchased size 8 pants something I haven't worn in more than 25 years! Turns out I actually lost about 35 lbs! Colette's book is deeply personal because she battled her own weight issues and through this amazing transformational book Colette will help many others like me who feel too much. Incredible book; amazing results!

When You're Ready For a Fresh Perspective That Changes Everything
The first thing I love about this book is the title..it's easy to know who the book is written for..I believe the title alone is going to bring great relief to many as people recognize themselves and immediately make the connection between their sensitive and empathic nature and what they've experienced around weight. The book offers something very different from the diet-and-exercise-mentality that leave so many stranded at a time when they most need support from longstanding weight related issues.This is a beautiful comprehensive work that includes both the compassionate perspective to combat the shame that comes with eating issues plus the inspiration and targeted solutions that bring relief.I know from my own work with clients in this same arena, that the shift in perspective is essential- that a sensitive/empath can move away from all of the stigma and pathology around weight and create new ways of living. Your gifts and blessings will no longer be your "curse". Colette is a talented intuitive and having found her way through her own addictions, with food being the longstanding "drug of choice"(as it is for most of us) it's easy to trust her voice and her guidance.Colette's well laid out program and specific techniques for anyone wanting to live more beautifully in their body are powerful and smart. As a clinician and fellow-intuitive working with women with weight/body issues, I now recommend this book more than any other to release both physical and energetic weight. And..as somebody that had eating and weight issues for many years, I know "Weight Loss For People Who Feel Too Much" will be a gateway to peace and freedom for those willing to try it. A "Must Have" for Understanding the Emotional Connection
If you are a fan of Colette Baron-Reid, you will probably enjoy this book even if you don't have weight issues. If you are not familiar with her, she is a gifted intuitive counselor (she does not like the term medium) who has appeared on Dr. Phil and written other books on intuition. I am probably a bit biased, having attended her live workshops. I was expecting this to be good because I enjoyed The Map and Remembering the Future: The Path to Recovering Intuition.Her knowledge of this subject is first hand, having gained 70 pounds in 3 months when her mother died. I could relate to her experience, having done the same thing when my son died. Over the years she tried everything from dieting to overeaters anonymous, but it was only when she linked clairsentience, or "feeling too much" with food and weight that she was able to drop the extra pounds, stop dieting, and find peace with this.So, what exactly does it mean to "feel too much"? Some people are very empathic, and they tend to pick up the feelings of others around them. When the other people are carrying negative feelings, you can pick up the negative energy and become emotionally (and physically) overloaded. I think everyone has experienced how a negative person can bring you down.The book is based on her highly successful program that she has conducted live and online. The book, like her program is very interactive with questionnaires, visualizations, and suggestions for understanding your emotions. There are also techniques like EFT and journaling, with personal stories and examples of clients she has helped. The writing style is an interesting mix of all of these together, which keeps it from seeming like a work book and makes it more personal.At first glance, this may seem a bit far out for some people. It is really much more conventional than I had expected, with sound advice on eating and managing your feelings. If you are open to new ideas and exploring your emotions, I highly recommend getting this book. It is much more than eating, it is also about happiness.Bill Cashell - Author of "The Emotional Diet"

4 Sterne - also wirklich gut, das ist meine Beurteilung. Warum keine 5 Sterne? Nun, ich denke, es ist ewas einseitig geschrieben - ja, empathische Personen sind der Fokus, aber die Schlussfolgerungen erscheinen mir etwas holistisch. Es ist nicht nur die Empathie, es ist sicher auch das falsche Essen, das sich durch lange Zeit in unserem Bewusstsein eingegraben hat, was uns dick werden und bleiben lässt. Aber diese Bemerkungen sollen dem Wert des Buches nicht abträglich sein, es sind meine persönlichen Beobachtungen. Jedenfalls ist es wirklich empfehlenswert - dass es englisch ist, ist mir komplett egal, mich stört es nicht.

Interesting and Insightful
What an interesting and insightful read, this really explained weight-loss struggles in a new way to me. The book was informative and gave me new ideas to try.

Simply amazing!
Such a powerful program like nothing you have seen or done before! The tools provided are very effective at getting to the source of empathy and emotional eating. This program helped me release 10 lbs as well as emotional weight I have been carrying for years.

The only book of it's kind
I've never before read such a clear guide explaining how to cope with weight loss from an energetic point of view. I work as a therapist and although I haven't finished the plan yet the ideas within this book are wonderful. There are no recipes or food plans but she does advise you to eat whole, unprocessed food as much as possible. This book is for people who are sensitive and intuitive and tend to be very affected by people and situations around them.
