I dont do many reviews but think this one is important because of all the research I did plus reading reviews.Nowhere did I find any scabbard that was related to the Henry Axe so any purchase was a gamble.Here it is (perfect fit) I couldnt be happier with the sturdiness and quality of the scabbard. 5 stars all the way

This is exactly what I needed for my Mossberg Maverick 88.The scabbard covers the trigger guard and comes up to the grip. It is a snug fit but it is not difficult to remove the weapon when necessary.Not surprisingly, a shotgun barrel tip rubbing on the fabric of the scabbard will rub a hole in it sooner or later. The easy fix is to shove dish cloth, not towel but dishcloth, or folded bandana, etc into the end of the scabbard to absorb the pressure and reduce the metal rub on the canvas.It is exactly what I was looking for.

My tactical Mossberg fits with a laser on the barrel.

Right off the bat, this is an awesome scabbard! I use it for my Mossberg 500 pistol grip and Maverick 88 pistol grip. A little tight on the 500 but I just stuffed a bunch of softballs in it and let it set 2 days and now it fits my 500 like a glove! No problems with the 88. Quality is top notch! Many options to carry it with the sling and the many attachment points. For the money, this has been one of my best buys of the year! I keep one downstairs, the 500, for home protection. The other upstairs in my studio for the same reasons. I own 50+ guns and I know a quality item when I lay my hands on it. This is a steal at the price. As usual got it in 2 days with Prime.

Quality of this nylon material is iffy at best, but then again I compare all these products to Spec Ops. stuff made in Texas. It's hard to rig it up so the gun doesn't fall out upside down. I wish I had spent more and got the better one, this is pretty cheesy and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I bought two of these to protect my shotguns in travel. They are very thick and have many attachment points for shell holders. I thought I would want to put something in the bottom like many said they believe you should to protect the bottom, but after putting both my tactical 20 inch guns in, I didn't feel it was necessary. I don't plan on hanging them for any extended period of time and most others won't either. I attached a 25 shell holder to the molle and now I feel it is set up great for grab and go. Well worth the money.

This is just what I needed. I didn't want a case for my shotgun, nor did I have use of a sling. This is a good option for me. It's accessible yet I can sling it onto my shoulder. The only negative about the scabbard is that the strap is pretty small. You can sling it onto your shoulder like a backpack but won't be able to sling it across your chest which I was hoping. It's not a big issue for me. The strap clips on and off. Might replace it or make a Paracord extension.

Based on some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant. At the end of the day I was thinking the price was low enough that I would use it as a form to make what I wanted. Loved it the minute I took it out of the box, looks great. I have a Stoeger Condor Outback, fits perfectly and looks amazing. Now, the bottom will take a modify, because I can see where the barrels will eventually go through. And the strap is not the most comfortable. So I replaced it with a Russian RPD padded strap, and awesomeness. I’d buy it again.
