Great fan!
Needed new fan for daughter's room and this met the criteria! Sleek quiet compared to box fan with rotate, speed control and remote. Nothing more I could of asked for.

Quiet
I am currently using this fan in my grow room for the plants. It's so quiet running it at night doesn't bother anyone in the house. Definitely know this fan will be great come summer.

Gentle, quiet airflow suitable for nursery, bedroom, office
This is the second tower fan I've gotten this year, roughly the same size and with similar settings and features. The first one I got has more powerful airflow, more intuitive buttons, and an auto-shutoff option if room temp falls below a certain point, but it was also twice the price of this one. In both cases I like that they can be tucked in the corner of a room and set to oscillate so they cover the whole space. Assembly is quick and simple; just screw the base halves together, then the tower to the base. They work best on carpet or very uniformly flat floors; I have slightly uneven wide-board and tile floors, and they tend to wobble a bit unless I set them on an area rug.If you primarily just want to move the air around gently, this fan will do the job. I feel like the relatively low flow makes it a good candidate for use in sickroom, nursery, bedroom and spaces that are already temperate and just need a bit of air motion.I use this overnight and don't use the timer—I just turn it off when I get up, or sooner if I get chilly, but that's rare since the breeze isn't too stiff. I also don't really use the remote, but would be glad to have it if bedridden or if the fan were in a far corner of the room.As other commenters have noted, one drawback is that the flush grey-on-silver touch controls on the top of the unit are all identical, including the power button, and none of them are lit or colored or textured—there's no way to see what you're doing in the dark. Complicating matters, the button order is not at all intuitive (from left to right they are Oscillation, Airflow type, Power, Fan speed, and Timer). The fan also does not remember your last setting from the previous session, so I find myself fumbling for the settings I want single time I turn it on. It's a minor issue but can be especially annoying in the dark.Speaking of dark, the setting lights in the window on the top front of the unit stay lit for a full three minutes by my stopwatch; those ghostly little blue lights are hardly noticeable during the day, but at night in a dark room they light the place up for what feels like an eternity. If you were turning this on in a child's room when putting them to bed, you'd definitely want to do it at the start of the bedtime routine. Yet those lights, being on the front not top of the unit, manage not to illuminate the control buttons whatsoever. Buttons also beep each time they're touched (I always wish for—and have almost never found—an optional Off switch for appliance noises, as they can be horribly intrusive when quiet is wanted.)"Natural" (wind icon) is varied airflow, like a breeze that picks up and dies down. I tend to keep mine on "Normal" (happy face setting), which is single-speed flow. The three speeds range from just moving to gently flowing to a fair breeze—but if there were a fourth, higher speed, it would get a lot of use in this house, as we tend to like a good gale and only resort to A/C on the hottest days.Bottom line: Quiet, slim-profile fan good for night use and temperate spaces, would benefit from a more intuitive control interface.

i loved this fan and i’ve had it for almost a year now but for some reason it’s making a horrible loud noise whenever i turn it on. sometimes it makes it sometimes it doesn’t but i’ve tried everything to try and fix it and nothing works something must’ve broke on the inside ….it just sucks because i don’t think 8 months is long enough for it to start breaking …..
