This was one of the best embroidery kits I have ever gotten. It is so cute and easy to use. All of the supplies needed are given and it even came with the most adorable needle threader! The patterns, while seemingly simple, can be pretty complicated to embroider for a beginner, but definitely worth it! I love it!

I'm not a beginner at embroidery, but it has been a while. I have completed one of the three designs so far. I would prefer to stitch on linen rather than this somewhat stretchy fabric, and the floss is just ok quality. That said, you get three kits with hoops and needles for your money, and mine also came with a little pair of scissors. Since the kits aren't terribly expensive and the designs are reasonably attractive, it's probably worth the money I paid. The instructions are fairly minimal, but there are many YouTube videos out there to show you how to do basic stitches like French knots, satin stitch, and stem stitch. Nice kit for beginners.

I like the kit. It's got nice fabric, nicely printed patterns, and they're pretty. However, the plastic hoops are useless-the bamboo works much better. Also, the instructions aren't great. They're some of the less helpful instructions I've read. They don't include the bigger picture which helps you see what it's supposed to look like. I would definitely get it again though.

I really enjoyed working on all 3 patterns of this kit and now I'm hooked on embroidery. I would say the cherry blossom pattern was the easiest and a good intro to satin stitch. The hydrangea was the most challenging since it had so many French knots. Whenever I had a question such as what is the DMC color equivalent to the floss in the kit or what size needle is included, the customer service always gave me prompt replies. If you're new to embroidery, you'll find a lot of advice and demos on YouTube which is what I did. I found the French knots to be very difficult at first because it was tough to pull the needle through the knot and fabric. I found out that it's easier if you use a milliner needle for the French knots. I used a size 1 milliner needle and it was a lot easier to pull through the fabric and knot. I have my eye on another one of their kits and would love to get it someday.

The images are clearly printed and the fabric is a great weight and weave for embroidery. I am not going to use the floss included in the kit because prior experience has shown me the floss may fade and bleed when the finished item is washed to remove the printed outline, but that is my personal preference.

Poor written instructions

The kit has everything you need. But I'm disappointed that the colors are not as shown, especially the pinks. And to be clear, I understand that the colors on the computer screen can be different than real life. But I now have the printed pattern and the embroidery colors are much different than what's shown in the pattern...

The instructions are not clear. If this is your first time, you will need extra help.
