This is a very easy to follow and has a toooon of stitches to learn. It comes with the perfect starter tools. If you’re looking to get into embroidery I recommend this 10/10 for a starter set.

I purchased the product to use in teaching children to embroider so it will serve my purpose but would be difficult for a beginner to understand the directions. The pictures are good, though, and there is an online video so an adult might still master it. I didn't see any instructions for what to do with the tails at the beginning and end of a row (but at least they didn't say to tie a knot like one of the other kits did . . . ). It should also be noted that you have to embroider the names of the stitches if you don't want them to disappear when the piece is laundered. There appears to be plenty of floss to finish the project. The fabric is clearly stamped; it is off-white, which I didn't expect.

I am self taught and trying to learn new stitches. This has a great collection of stitches and instructions. Kit comes with everything you need including seem ripper and snips. The thread is fun colors too

Great way to learn stitches

No mention of how long to cut the thread or how to knot the thread to start or stop a color. There was also no thread organizer, which is in the pictures on amazon.Otherwise, the instructions on the stitches themselves was great and easy to follow
