Thid item was for a gift for a person who is having neck problems, the Doctor recommended this for stiffness.It helped the Doctor, saying it relieved the pain.

Moist Heat Works Quite Well
I first tried the rectangular pad which my daughter has and then saw this online. Sometimes I have an issue with the Velcro flap holding it in place and as tight as I would like, but other than that it seems to work just fine. I have a brachial plexus issue that will cause pain and tingling in my left shoulder and side of my neck at times. There was a consideration for cervical surgery last year and I have been undergoing PT in attempts to relieve the problem. Neither me nor my Stanford neurologist wants to go in that area unless I start really having issues. Had a minimally invasive lumbar Laminotomy where they scrap the lamina in my low back last February and that went extremely well and I am once again starting to golf. Heat really helps the muscles relax.
