Not bad.
I really am enjoying these ground up pecans to add to smoothies and waffles and other foods. I only say"not Bad" because I'm disgusted by the fact I paid 12 dollars for something that doesn't com packaged in away to help preserve it better. I can buy a bag of coffee for 1/2 this price or less and it comes w/a roll top bag(very similarly made to this) and a closure and soo many many other things have "zip loc " like closures on them. Why not this ? I keep this in the fridge like it says but in a zip loc type bag as well because this has NO closure on it's own. Quality isn't just in the product itself it's in how it's presented. and it's I'm paying this much for good ground nutsit should come in a better container.

A Wonderful Addition to Chaffles (add only about 1 tablespoon for each egg you use)
I add about 1 tablespoon to my chaffle mix (the basic mix is 1 egg and 1/2 cup shredded cheese) -- what a wonderful addition to the flavor and texture of chaffles.Going further, sometimes I toss in about 6 grams or chopped pecans, or about 6 grams of crumbled bacon, or even both -- and a few drops of sugar-free maple syrup will keep your recipe in the keto mode but add some very nice flavor.Or, going for a different taste, some chopped green onion or shredded zucchini (not very much) are good fits with the slightly more crunchy pecan-flour-added chaffle.Just remember, the more meal or flour that you add, the more likely it is that you may need to add some oil (which is so essential to a regular waffle recipe). Some of the nut oils, such as a walnut oil, are a great complement to use with the pecan flour.

not fine enough
I needed this for baking and was disappointed. It was not flour but crushed nuts. I was hoping for a fine grained flour like almond flour is. This was not flour.

Cashew Flour
The cashew flour is great. It arrived promptly even with covid delays, It's finely ground, one of the best prices I've I've found and the package reseals. the only change I'd make is where the resealable zipper is located on the package. It's towards the front vs on top like most bagged goods, so It's akward to pour out but I'll just dump it into another container. Would and wil buy again. Maybe offering larger sizes would be a good idea as well? I'd buy in bulk.

This pecan flour was perfect. Egg dip & flour coating with a few ...
This product came a day earlier than expected so thank you Wild Tree Farm. I wanted something to coat Walleye or other white meat fish other than pecan pieces that usually fell off. This pecan flour was perfect. Egg dip & flour coating with a few pecan pieces.....wife's favourite fish and now I'm a hero.......Used some pecan flour on top of my famous maple syrup pecan pie. Now I'm looking at other nut flours to use in other recipes.

Would buy again
Used this for a sugar free-gluten free banana bread/cupcakes recipe (21 day sugar detox) they turned out great, I think cashew added an interesting flavor besides the usual almond flour.

Glad it's Available. Period.
First off, I was just happy to find pecan flour! The other farm I've shopped from was sold out and I don't see it in local stores. I add this to hot cereals and grain-free pancakes for the sake of variety. To make it last, I add a spoonful or two to a larger base of buckwheat or almond flour. Like others have said, it's not a fine flour but more like a meal.

Important item for my SCDiet
Uniformity of flavor, compact data on bag and acceptable price for an item I use it to make some of my SCDiet recipes. I refrigerate it and tape the bag info on the front of the Mason jar. Can not find it in local health food stores or my usual online vendors. But Name of Company entered in search brought me to Amazon. Most nuts are ascidic but cashews are alkaline forming so it is my most used nut and having it available to use as a flour is great!
