Great For Non eARC Hardware!!
My only complaint is VRR isn't working from Xbox series x to TV but that's because it needs a firmware update per the website which gives you files without instructions to do it where most products are just plug and update the firmware but all in all it gives me all of the video perks while sending atmos to my receiver which I wasn't able to do going directly from my tv(arc only). If anyone is familiar with the firmware update process please let me know.

Janky dud of a product, avoid like the plague.
I don't leave many bad reviews but man, I wish I could give this zero stars, seriously do not buy this piece of junk. I purchased to use my Xbox Series X at 4k120hz with VRR with an HDMI responsive LED Backlight kit, so sending one HDMI signal to the TV and one to the LEDs. I could get this to work intermittently, but in nothing resembling a reliable fashion. Sometimes cycling the EDID settings would fix it, sometimes unplugging/plugging in the HDMI cables in random orders would fix it, but nothing stuck. The LED kit just wouldn't reliably turn on despite this unit supposedly recognizing it as there.Tried to update the firmware as they do not ship updated to see if that would sort out the behavior and my god what a mess. The updater downloaded from their website immediately tells you it's out of date, and the instructions provided with it DO NOT WORK. Not to mention they're all compressed in RAR format and look like they're from the 90's, it all reeks of Chinese malware honestly.Somewhere during the process of attempting firmware updates, power cycling, cycling EDID settings, and plugging/unplugging HDMI cables the unit just ceased to function altogether, no longer sending any video signal. Total waste of time/headache, read through other reviews to see the other examples of how poor quality this is.

Works with caveats
As others have stated this thing is fickle but it can work. This morning, after using the device successfully for a few weeks I woke up to a display selection in Windows that even Google can't find - "MEC-R-4-HV" . I've never seen this display option before and could not find any info on it. Thirty minutes later I isolated the problem to this device in my AV system. Tried several different things but what worked was unplugging HDMI Out 2 (in my case this goes to my receiver), replugged HDMI Out 2 which gave me audio (I had lost it as well as picture), then unplugged and replugged HDMI Out 1 (which gave me picture on my monitor). I don't know why that worked or what caused the issue in the first place, my behavior didn't change and there's no discernible external factors at play. Decided to write this review in hopes that someone else is spared the trouble. The takeaway, which is unfortunate - when you're setting this up or troubleshooting it, the order of which HDMI cord you plug in factors in to performance. Things shouldn't be that way, hence the 4 stars, but nothing else I could find offered this specific functionality.EDIT: this is the correct order to plug in the HDMI cables to get it to work - Out 2, Out 1, then In

This is great
I am using this device to get 4k@120 on my TV, while feeding 1080p to my PC from the Xbox Series X. This is allowing my PC to get the full FPS and fluidly send signals to my controller in turn making an aimbot for my xbox with no lag at all. Excellent work.

Perfect for Phillips Hue, enables 4k 120hz + VRR with light sync on PS5
The media could not be loaded. Was eager to see if this box would work to allow light syncing with 4k 120hz vrr enabled. Box is set to copy edid from TV and output 2 is set to downscale to 1080p and output to the sync box. Only thing I was worried about was VRR not working with the sync box, but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues, works perfectly. Can also confirm it works with Dolby Vision from the Xbox as well, 120hz 4k vrr with Dolby Vision

Isn’t a seamless solution
You’d hope this could just send a duplicate signal to two displays without issue. Unfortunately, when doing source switching or sometimes just pausing video, it can cause a refresh/reset not the other. I missed the return window so I'm stuck with an expensive paperweight.

Good and bad
It works as advertised but, with a few bugs.Very hard to update the firmware because it's all in Chinese.Needs English updating firmware software.
